Hi Samuel, This is a common concern in vehicles with tinted windows. The window tint film is applied by our vendor to the inside of the windows. Over time, small chips can be made in the film due to the seat belt hitting the glass as it’s released, and it’s been over a year since your purchase. Upon inspection, we determined the damage is not covered under warranty because it’s not defective window tint. The tint was impaired by an outside influence impacting the glass. Mr. Hanechak, I’m sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with your service in December 2021. Your complaint when you brought your vehicle in was “fluid leak at front engine area”. Instead of brushing you off, we thoroughly inspected your concern and found the radiator was leaking, and to save you additional labor charges down the road, we also recommended a timing belt. Both repairs were approved and the amount you paid included the diagnosis charge.These repairs are common with an 18-year-old vehicle with over 175K miles. There are no notes in our records about your vehicle running cold and your vehicle passed inspection after the road test. If the thermostat was bad at the time we replaced the radiator, it would have been apparent. When we inspected your brakes, the front pads were at 7mm and the rear pads measured 4mm. We do not recommend replacement until they are in the red zone which is 3mm or less. Why you needed brakes and rotors in such a short period of time is a question for the repair shop. We have highly trained technicians who have been servicing the Lexus community in Denver since 1989. We take pride in providing the best possible service and customer experience. My complaints were stated at time of arrival, that I thought my thermostat was bad. I have the old thermostat. I can show it to you if you’d like. The rubber gasket is completely broken and corroded. I also have the rotors. I recommend doing the timing belt because it was due at 180k. Regardless, my vehicle is running fine now. I’m not saying the work you did was bad, I’m just disappointed that my concerns were not addressed. I made an appointment and an immediate phone call when I left to state the problem was still occurring.

The 50K service performed last September on your 2014 Lexus included only regular maintenance that would not have caused the radio to malfunction. Lexus stood behind their product and offered goodwill assistance, covering two-thirds of the cost even though your vehicle is outside of warranty. Amber Sliter, I felt regular maintenance did cause my radio to malfunction. I also got a part, which I felt was faulty, added to my battery terminal which caused a surge which knocked out the whole radio I feel. I got the car back after you sent the console for repair. Now the satellite part of my radio does not work because of a defective part in the console where Lexus sent it. We had the satellite company try to fix it. They said inside the console. When I brought my car there for 50k maintenance, I was listening to songs of the 70s. I felt a car should be returned like it was when I sent it in and it wasn't.
