Having test driven 8 vehicles, we had virtually decided on a 2013 Acura as we felt that the Lexus was probably beyond our price range. Lexus of Frederick was therefore the last dealership we visited. From the minute we entered the front door Jay made us so welcome,listened patiently to our list of likes and dislikes, and then proceeded to take them one by one explaining and resolving them as we went. We test drove immediately, were very impressed, but decided to go back and try the Acura once more. Jay exerted no pressure on us, (which I hate !!), but expressed confidence in the Lexus and "planned" to see us again the next day !! He was right. We returned the next day decided on the 350, subject to the cost, and here again Jay was able to work with us and his finance people to come up with a lease price better than that we had been given for the Acura. So with a better lease price and the additional luxury of the Lexus we had a a "no brainer" decison to make. Jay had turned a "dubious couple" into "new purchasers" by exhibiting from start to finish, that what we, the customer, wanted came first and foremost,(not the sale), and once the sale was made,assuring us that the Lexus service would continue throughout the length of our lease. A couple of weeks ago I was in the market for a small sporty car and drove to lexus looking at the IS 250. Jeff also walked me around the dealership and talked about how well service would take of me when I visited. No one has ever showed me their service department before (it was very clean)and he explained the warranty the car would have. The car was fun to drive and everything I wanted. You could tell Jeff really liked the car and wasn't just trying to sell me something. he made the purchase really easy. Travis finished the paperwork with me. This is the third Lexus that I have purchased from Stevinson Lexus in seven years. The first one was seven years ago. I purchased my then 75 year old Mother's Dreamcar, an IS250, for her. It was so easy and actually fun, I could not believe it! Two years later, I purchased my Lexus GX470 from Scott. I knew Lexus was high quality and all Lexus dealerships have top standards in the industry as I had previously owned a Lexus while living in another state. However, since interacting with Stevinson Lexus in Frederick, I know they provide exceptional service and have exceptional standards in all departments, even over other Lexus dealerships. Whether you are dealing with Sales or Service (also very awesome; run by John Lott) you will be pleased. The prices are great, too. Recently, my mother's vehicle was in an accident and I needed to replace it for her. I called Scott, now Sales Manager, who had Chris Rogers in Sales help me. He found the exact vehicle I needed and gave me a great price! (I had previously researched prices so knew it was a great deal.) It was that simple! BTW, my now 82 year old mother was not even hurt even though her car was totaled. I think the Lexus protected her. And,I honestly, don't think I will ever buy another car from another dealership because Stevinson Lexus is so great! I recommend them to all my neighbors and friends (many of them have purchased from S.L. after a visit.) I consider myself to have high standards being a previous four time Inc.500 (with AA rating) company owner. Also, a previous YPO Member. My integrity is very important to me.
