Dear Mr. Singh, Your review is only part of the story. Multiple members of our staff had spoken with you and one of your employees over a period of three weeks. Unfortunately, the condition of your trade-in was not as advertised. The value we had given you over the phone was sight unseen and upon inspecting the vehicle first-hand for damage, it was not worth the trade-in value we quoted you in previous months. We did honor the sale price you had negotiated before, but we had no way of knowing that one of your employees came to the dealership acting on your behalf. If we had been made aware that you were sending him down instead of coming down yourself, we would have been prepared with the proposal that we had negotiated with you prior to your arrival.
