I was shopping for a truck and landed at stevens ford and Jessica was my amazing salesperson, I thought I knew what I wanted until I met Jessica who suggested a 2017 f-150 and I was skeptical and she said tr Jessica was my amazing salesperson, I thought I knew what I wanted until I met Jessica who suggested a 2017 f-150 and I was skeptical and she said trust me you have to see it. So I agreed and literally fell in love with the truck..then I had the pleasure of sitting with Dennis the finance guy and he knocked it out of the park, his personality and sensitivity and ability to help. I will biy again and again and highly recommend this dealership… More
This was the most horrible auto buying experience I have ever had!! I have owned 5 Mustang GT's since 2007, and will never buy one again, simply because of my experience at Stevens112 Ford; I will never giv ever had!! I have owned 5 Mustang GT's since 2007, and will never buy one again, simply because of my experience at Stevens112 Ford; I will never give my money to Ford again. I bought a used 2015 Mustang GT at Stevens112 Ford in March, 2022, and there were so many defects with it, most could not be seen by the naked eye. And the ones that could, they stated that they would not fix. First, I was told that I would have to bring the car back at a later date. Even when I did, they didn't fix many of them. I was told that I would get a 2nd key FOB, a donut, and several other missing things, and never got them. They then refused to remove the window tint that was on the car when I purchased it (which they said they would do). The only bright spot at this dealership was Keith, in the Service Department; he at least continued to speak with me, and, stayed on top of things. However, when I came back as requested, they never fixed the camera recall on the back of the car, never removed the tint, and, never gave me a 2nd key FOB. Chris in sales was the worst. First, when the paperwork for my car was supposed to go to the Service Department, he wound up keeping it on his desk, noting to the Service Department, "I thought it would be safer on my desk"; even I know that paperwork needs to go to a Service Department, so they can correct things!!. So when I asked why the Service Department didn't remove the tint, they said, "There was no tint on the side windows". If Chris simply gave it to them as he should have, they would have realized that the tint was on the front window!! Moving forward, only 2 months later, and only 1,600 miles later, the entire clutch system went, and, the brakes and rotors had to be replaced - this should not happen after just 1,600 miles!! My body shop (Firestone in North Bablyon) said that all of the above had to be replaced immediately, and that the rotors looked like they had been submerged under water, for months!! I have been dealing with Firestone for over 20 years, and deal with the owner directly - he even showed me the horribly defective parts, and, I kept them. So when Stevens112 Ford says they perform inspections on used vehicles, don't trust them!! They purchased a used vehicle from someone and simply slapped a much higher price tag on it, and said, here ya go; there is no way they inspected the brakes or clutch system, as well as the fact that the vehicle had no donut, a missing key FOB, and, a clip missing from the front side panel. I reached out to Chris in sales numerous times, as well as Bill from Service, and, event tried to reach the General Manager, David Benstock; no one returned my calls for weeks. So, in mid-June, 2022, I sent the GM of Stevens112 Ford (as well as the CEO of Ford) certified letters noting that if anyone didn't get back to me by July, I would file a small claims court lawsuit. On July 16, 2022 I filed and mailed the suit to Suffolk County Court. Of course this will take some time, but after spending over $3,500 on parts that I shouldn't have (not at least for several thousand miles), and Stevens112 Ford not caring about it (or responding to me), I am done!! I even have some of the defective parts so I can should the Judge that these things should not have failed, after just 1,600 miles of purchasing the vehicle. I have already convinced at least 2 potential buyers (friends of mine) of vehicles that were considering buying vehicles at Stevens112 Ford, not to do so, as the place is a deathtrap, has zero customer service skills, and, doesn't care about you once you buy a used vehicle from them. You should avoid Stevens112 Ford at all costs, in my opinion!! More
If you want to spend your hard earned money at a place that has zero regard for customer safety and satisfaction, go to Stevens 112 Ford! I purchased a 19 Edge ST and immediately noticed the front rotors that has zero regard for customer safety and satisfaction, go to Stevens 112 Ford! I purchased a 19 Edge ST and immediately noticed the front rotors were warped, as well as the "new" no name brand tires they threw on being unbalanced and two being out of round. Very "safe" for a performance SUV. Only reason I found them being out of round is they told me to bring it to a local shop near me to have them balanced and they'd cover it. I never saw that money until I went to corporate over it, and even then the check they cut was not the invoice total. I brought up my concern over the tires to Bill and was told to call up the tire place myself. I handled that. I've attached pics of one rotor, but all 4 looked like this and Bill told me to kick rocks. I had to pay out of pocket for brakes on a car I just spent top dollar on. Carlos did his best to get every concern taken care of, he was great to deal with, but Bill prefers to take your money once instead of making it right and having repeat customers. Every shop that saw this said how bad these brakes were and they should not have let it go this way. My local ford dealer is going to be dealing with the transmission issue as well. I will never bring my car here and they will never get my business again. Update: One tire is still bad and a wheel is bent, which is why it wont balance out. I brought up my concern and Bill told me "I've done all I'm going to do" then hung up on me. If I could give 0 stars I would. The worst customer service I've ever seen. Buyer beware More
Although the vehicle I was interested in was priced incorrectly on their site and cars.com, they do have a selection of reasonably priced used vehicles. incorrectly on their site and cars.com, they do have a selection of reasonably priced used vehicles. More
I have a leader vehicle from an upstate dealer and got a blowout on LI. After getting roadside assistance, I drove to Stevens Ford to purchase a new tire under my tire coverage. My paperwork was pulled up t blowout on LI. After getting roadside assistance, I drove to Stevens Ford to purchase a new tire under my tire coverage. My paperwork was pulled up to verify the coverage and then I was told they didn't want to service me because it took too long for reimbursement! I offered to pay them and I would wait for reimbursement. They did not call ahead for approval of the work and sent me around the corner to a tire place! P.S. I cannot get reimbursement because there was no pre-approval! If I could relate them a "zero" I would. More
I could type the whole circumstance, but the gist is: they promised me it would be okay. It wasn't. They blamed and belittled me for the problem that was preexisting instead of taking ownership of it. I they promised me it would be okay. It wasn't. They blamed and belittled me for the problem that was preexisting instead of taking ownership of it. I literally cried over how they treated me and then I moved on. I will not return, I will not recommend them, and I will inform anyone, who asks, not to go there with so many other Ford dealerships around. There is nothing else I can do; they dismissed me. All over 1 tire on a car I spent 30K on. More

Whatever happened to good old fashioned salesmanship? Has it gone out the window? Customer loyalty? Gone too? How is it that you can walk into a dealership with a pre-approval letter from your bank with cash it gone out the window? Customer loyalty? Gone too? How is it that you can walk into a dealership with a pre-approval letter from your bank with cash and trade in hand and still not walk out with a car? Well, try going to 112 Stevens Ford. These guys are great at it! Had this been my first rodeo with them I would say, maybe there was something I didn’t communicate clearly, I mean, let’s see, see a few trucks online, salesman pushes you to come in, not yet, looking. Come in, we will work a deal. Not interested in a 2018 with 55k for $38,000. My trade in is a 2018 with 37k. But you know, that 2020 Ford Ranger Stock# UV7004 with 9,900 miles for $39,995 looks really good. Ok, try their online Capital One pre approval. Sorry, need more information. We will get back to you. Let’s go to a previous version of dealing with 112 Stevens Ford about a year ago 9/2020. A beautiful white Chevy Colorado with a cap, slide out bed tray in the rear, heated seats. Everything I’m looking for. Midnight shoppers on their website, (which, by the way is all connected to Ford of Smithtown, Lincoln of Smithtown and Jersey City Ford). Ok, click, RESERVE CAR, ok that works, email confirm, car reserved. OK, click SCHEDULE TEST DRIVE, great, pick a date and time, great. Done. Go to their Capital One credit app, Sorry, we need more information, we will get back to you. So, because I want to make sure I’m covered for this car I put in an application for credit at my bank and I get an immediate credit approval. Amazing what happens with a 750+ credit score. The next day I call up, sorry, someone else took the car, problem with the website, working on it, blah, blah, and blah. Next time just come in and we will take care of you. Fast forward to now. I moved out to Suffolk County in October of 2015. Since then I owned 4 Fords. E350 I had, leased a F150, leased a 2018 Eco sport. Then I bought it off lease. Throughout my 61 years on this planet I owned a few other fords. But especially now I would consider myself a loyal Ford customer. xxxx, I even buy and trade Ford stocks. So I think that makes me a loyal Ford customer. But if you think that loyalty buys you anything at 112 Stevens Ford, well, you’d be mistaken. So let’s get back to the present day dilemma. Apparently the IT guys at Ford didn’t fix the Capital One Website at 6% and all their requests for Pre approval are not working. Now, those familiar with purchasing cars at dealerships, if not buying with cash, have to go through this process by which they blow up your credit report with at least 3 to 5 hard Inquiries thereby bringing down your credit report score for at least 6 months or more. So in order to make sure that does not happen to me again, just did it end of October. I went straight to my personal Bank and got a great rate of 2.74%. This is generally frowned upon by the finance departments at dealerships because they lose out on their origination fee and possible kickbacks. Rumors, I know. Hard to believe. BUT…. So I went to 112 Stevens Ford with a pre-approval from Bank of America for $35,000, a trade in with equity, payoff letter from the bank and a FORD EXTENDED SERVICE PLAN which says on the plan that it’s TRANSFERABLE. And they tell me they can’t make the deal happen. WHAT? I have cash in hand, a trade in with equity, a good credit rating, available cash, loyal customer, told to come in and we will make a deal. Nope. Oh, Ford plan isn’t transferable. It says so on the pamphlet. I purchased it in October and the salesman said it was transferable. NOPE. According to 112 Stevens Ford, they do not honor that Ford product. I would have to go back to the other dealership (they are all connected, the finance guy even knew the first name of the finance guy at Smithtown Ford) and cancel it and then ….. What? Well, as a friend explained it, they would lose out on a loan origination fee and the kickback. The market is so hot they don’t need my business. This particular truck is hot and the miles are low, why sell it to me when they can get more money from another customer. WOW. Since they haven’t come back and explained anything other than we can’t make this deal work for you, my buddies explanation I guess stands. So, for those looking for a new car, don t go to 112 Stevens Ford, their business is booming. They don’t need your money. They don’t care about customer loyalty so take your business elsewhere. Customer loyalty does not exist at Stevens Ford. More
