These 2 gentlemen that run the internet Sales dept, and there is no haggle pricing , got the best price the first time , shopped over 10 dealers and wasted so much time for no reason ! I originally purchased a vehicle from Stevens back in March, *Factory order* When it arrived a few months afterwards most of the *Factory order was wrong. They reordered another one, This one arrived in October. I had the original documents that they gave me. So I knew on the first initial order what I was suppose to get. Upon the *Reorder I was assured that I would get the same price, I asked because I was getting a 2011 rather than a 2010. When it arrived in October I took delivery right away. I was really anxious for the vehicle, Three months delayed, It was rushed to the up-fitter. I lost business because I did not have this vehicle on time. I did not read all the paper work on the delivery day. They over charged me a significant difference, Which I found a month afterwards. I have relationships with other dealers. *Read my other Posts/ Comments. I have never had something like this happen to me before. A fellow colleague of mine recommended me to come here, He is actually a relative of the owner, With that in mind I was not wary of the purchase at all. I left messages, Nothing happened. I do not expect them to make it right. Shame on me for trusting them. My new FORD is great, Too bad I can not say the same about Stevens FORD of Patchogue. From beginning to end Stevens Ford made my purchase of a new 2010 Ford Edge a pleasure. The staff were friendly and helpful. More specifically, Lisa in the finance department was very friendly and took a new 2010 Ford Edge a pleasure. The staff were friendly and helpful. More specifically, Lisa in the finance department was very friendly and took a great deal of time with me as we worked together to get what I needed in order to purchase the car at a payment that I could afford. She was very knowledgeable about the additional warranties and explained all details of my purchase and financing. Jonathan spent a great deal of time showing me all the features my new Ford Edge had (even in the pouring rain). He set up my sync features for my cell phone and made sure everything worked and that I had no questions about the vehicle before I left. More
Went in for an annual state inspection. I expected to need front brake pads, but did not expect to need rear wheel cylinders. The mechanic stated that it was gushing brake fluid. If there was any leaki need front brake pads, but did not expect to need rear wheel cylinders. The mechanic stated that it was gushing brake fluid. If there was any leaking fluid, I would have seen it on the ground where I always park my car, the brake fluid level would have been low instead of full and there would have been difficulty stopping the car. Steven's Ford/Kia also charged me for the parts and work that are covered by my extended warranty. Driving out of the lot, I noticed the car shaking whenever the brake were applied. I was told it would have to wait until a technician was in. A couple of weeks later, I dropped off the car after I was able to borrow someone elses car while mine was in the shop, even though my extended warranty guaranteed me a car to use while my car is being worked on. As expected, it was the rotors. They were not cut properly, but I had to pay about $400 to replace the rotors so the car could be driven. More

More
