One must stop and think how is it we bought a 2013 truck Est 40K my Handicap son spent in cost after saving years, When driving the truck home for the First Time 7/22 the tranny stops working after 30 miles, My son is handicapped on a ventilator when needed. We were looking for a reliable vehicle Where he does not have to pull over on southern state parkway that could result in Death To shut the truck off to be able to drive it where it will shift correctly. The cost of bringing the truck back and forth will be the second time now tonight the gas should be reimbursed By Stevens 112 Ford. 7/28 Dropped off for transmission replacement or parts, andrepair 8/3 Advised the truck repairs completed to pick up the truck 8/5 On the way home the same issue wrench light comes on truck sticks in 3rd gear After a jerk at 55 miles an hour with a (code of P0722) again stuck in 3r gear. I ask you How was the truck repaired ? The service departments answer (they did what they were advised to do by sales) So I need to call the sales dept to get my tranny correctly fixed?? My Son is paying a bank loan and Insurance for a truck he cannot drive. The extra cost in insurance to keep his old car on the road, due to the lack of reliability/ or technical knowledge Of the Stevens112 Ford Mechanics to fix the problem on James 2013 Ford Rapture. No way this Truck was fully inspected and tested as advertised, by Cars . Com 30 miles on the road bringing it home for the First Time The Wrench Light came on the truck at 50 miles per drop down to 3rd gear got hung up I am FURIOUS at who ever signed off that this truck was safe! my son could of been hurt this issue is dangerous can result in DEATH. The Gm David Benstock never got back to me so I sent another email He states call the service dept?? (Ya think this is the run around?) At this point we are requesting to bring to a Profession Transmission shop of Our Choice. Jessica was one of the best we ever had. 100 % to her. She is awesome. Came in on day off so we could have a 2nd look at vehicle and bought it. She picked it up a few days later and brought 100 % to her. She is awesome. Came in on day off so we could have a 2nd look at vehicle and bought it. Salesman and finance guy were just alright, not very welcoming, biggest issue was that they set you up with a payment plan called uptempo. What looks like a car payment coming out of your account is actually a payment for this service and then you’re behind on payments. Luckily i caught it before this happened but if they try to set you up with this do yourself a favor and just pay on your own More
