Cars are cheaper than the rest but financing is much harder Steve Rayman had the cheapest cars by far but financing is harder. They give the lowest valve for a trade. I had been going back and forth via email with Tricia and had explained to her what I was looking for and what my situation was. I wanted to give as much info as possible to make the process when I actually arrived go as quickly as possible. I was going to be trading my vehicle in for a pre-owned one. I told her when I wanted to come in and my appointment was made with Rick Cobb. When I arrived for my appointment, Rick Cobb was not even in that day. I was later told he had a family emergency. I arrived and nobody knew who I was or what I was there for. So much for trying to make it a quick process. I waited. I filled out paperwork because the salesman I was given to work with was unable to log into the ipad to pull up my info. I was asked if I had a down payment and I informed him I had my car that I was looking to trade in. He asked for my key, took my paperwork and said he'd be back to see what type of vehicle they could get me into. 30 minutes later he came back with a VW Jetta. I did not even get in the vehicle. I informed him that I did not want a German car. I have owned a German vehicle before and it's not an experience I care to repeat. I explained this and he proceeded to try to get me into the car. After declining repeatedly, he said he would see what he could do. I went back inside to wait some more. 20 minutes later Arthur Lombardi came to speak with me and asked me why I wasn't interested in that vehicle. I explained to him that I did not want a German vehicle and he proceeded to try to convince me that this was a great car and my only option due to my credit status. I told him I was not interested and asked for my car keys back. He became visibly agitated and asked me in a hostile tone where else I thought I would be able to go to get into something better than what they were offering with what I had. I simply asked for my keys back and he said he'd go get them. After waiting another 5 mintes, Anthony came to talk to me and explained that due to my credit, that was the only car they could get me into and the reason the bank was allowing me to get into that car was because it was still under VW warranty, so they felt secure that if anything happened, I'd still be able to make my payments. I asked what my payment would be and he said "in the high 2's." He told me that because my credit score was in the low 400s, that was the best they could do. I said no thanks and asked for my car keys back. He proceeded to tell me that there was no place I could go to get a car with my credit unless I went to Buy Here/Pay Here lot. He got loud and became very aggressive and continue to demean me because of my credit status which is something I had already explained in my email conversations prior to coming into the dealership and was told it would not be an issue. After being demeaned and repeating over and over that I was not interested in that vehicle, I was finally handed my keys and able to leave the dealership. Upon leaving the dealership, I called Tricia and left a voicemail detailing how her colleagues attempted to bully me into a vehicle that I did not want. Not long after leaving the message, I received a call back from CJ Lombardi who was attempting to bring some resolve. At the top of the call with CJ, I told him there would be no resolve. I had no interest whatsoever in doing business with Steve Rayman. CJ proceeded to ask me about what occurred and who I dealt with. He explained the same thing Anthony explained about why that was the only vehicle they could offer me because all I had was my car. I explained to CJ that I actually did have cash to put down as well, but nobody ever asked me if I had anything other than my car. At no point through all the bullying and condescending remarks, at no point did it occur to and of these "sales" people to ask if I had or could come up with any additional down payment other than my vehicle. CJ stated I should have told the sales people that I had cash in addition to my car. The conversation went down hill after that and there was no point in continuing the conversation after that. I felt CJ's statement was dismissive towards the way I was treated and I was made to feel as if the bullying I encountered was my fault because I didn't tell them I had a pocket full of cash to put down. It was an absolutely awful experience and I would never recommend Steve Rayman to anyone. I should say, although our conversation went sideways, CJ was the most helpful and he really did make an effort to try an resolve despite his horrible choice of words which made it sound like the whole horrible experience was my fault. I would still never recommend this place. They are disorganized and totally unprofessional. Additionally, a few days after this incident occurred, I received a letter in the mail from another dealership with a credit assessment. My credit score is 561. So not only was I bullied and verbally accosted by this staff, but I was also lied to about my own credit status. More
"You're forgiven"! Yeah Right 4 years age we contacted this dealership about a vehicle because of good reviews, however, we went somewhere else closer to home. This past week we decided we wanted to look for a new vehicle and wanted to give Steve Rayman a chance. We told the salesman what we were looking for, what we wanted in monthly payments and why we wanted what we wanted. What they came at us with was a high interest rate, high monthly payment and pretty much ignored our desires. They also came at us with a low appraisal for our trade in which they said was in great shape! They did a minimum amount of effort to get us what we wanted and expected us to accept that lousy effort. Basically the only thing we were offered was the type of vehicle and color we requested, all else was what they decided we would have to accept with monthly payments twice the amount we stated we would accept. We went to a different dealer in Gainsville, GA a few days later. They got us what we were seeking at a lower interest rate and made such an effort to appraise our trade in we had enough to pay it off to the penny and make the down payment. Although the monthly payment is a little higher than we desired, we took the deal and feel we had the best dealer experience ever and departed in our new vehicle not feeling used or cheated. I will never shop for a vehicle at Steve Rayman or in the immediate Atlanta area again. Steve should head up to Gainsville, he might learn something. More

I purchased a very nice used vehicle on November 20, 2015. Adam Marcus was my salesperson and he was totally awesome, very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. It was great to see other staff members step up to the plate and help out, Cory Lombardi was excellent as well, he is courteous, always smiling and upbeat, and makes sure the customer is satisfied. Ray was just hilarious and upfront. Judy in the finance department was also friendly, I will definitely recommend this dealership to others and purchase again in the future!!! . More
