Since the sale occurred on a Saturday, they did not submit the purchase order to my credit union until Monday. Just as I finalized the loan documents on Monday, the salesperson called to say they decided to sell the car to someone else. This type of business practice is highly unethical and was likely a breach of contract. The dealership itself was unapologetic. The salesperson was apologetic and tried to direct me to a different vehicle, but the price was not nearly as competitive as the original vehicle. It felt a lot like a bait and switch situation. More

They even moved my belongings to the new car while I was with the finance mgr (also very nice) as I was a bit in a time crunch.
