Kyra did it again. Service was done the next day. I left the truck for most of the day, but was ready sooner. Service is usually done right as nd quickly. Service was done the next day. I left the truck for most of the day, but was ready sooner. Service is usually done right as nd quickly. More
Best car repair experience. Kyra Fleming could not have been kinder. I had already been to an auto zone for what I thought was a tail light problem. She was patient and very proactive about helping me resolve 3 issues. I am elderly and handicapped so someone who kept helping with information and pricing was a God send. 2 of the 3 problems were resolved. The only one we did not correct was an Economic one I have to think about before committing. She was the most flexible and hardest working car specialist, especially considering it was the day before Thanksgiving. She could have rushed or been impatient and I would have understood. Great experience and as I was waiting she kept me informed at every turn. Your whole staff was busy but still renamed kind and courteous to each other. I am so grateful. Very nice start to the holiday season. Sherry More
Brought my 2018 Sierra (with 60k miles on it) in for the dreaded 8 speed shutter. Asked for a transmission flush to see if that would get me a few more years before major work. Technician “diagnosed” that I dreaded 8 speed shutter. Asked for a transmission flush to see if that would get me a few more years before major work. Technician “diagnosed” that I needed a new transmission and it would cost $8,000 and refused to try the flush that I was willing to pay for. So, I took it to a local shop that would perform the trans flush and filter change and guess what? NO MORE SHUDDER. Do I think this fixed the issue? No. But it will do what I wanted in the first place AND it didn’t cost me $8,000 for a transmission that still has problems from the factory. So no, I do not recommend the Steele GMC Service Department for any major, non-warranty work. More
Josh was still at lunch when I arrived so this nice lady got Chad to check me in. After an hour of waiting I asked Chad if they were far behind. He said “Ask Josh, I just checked you in.” When I approached got Chad to check me in. After an hour of waiting I asked Chad if they were far behind. He said “Ask Josh, I just checked you in.” When I approached Josh he was a deer in headlights - he didn’t even know I was there. He got to work and my oil was changed on 20 minutes. So - an hour of my time was wasted because Chad was too busy looking at his phone (that’s what he was doing when I asked him my status) to let Josh know that he was passing me back to him. Again, Josh did me right once he knew I was there, but why did I have to wait an hour? Communicate between service advisors is lacking. More
