I went to Spreen Mazda to test drive and inquire about purchasing a new Mazda 6. Before I did so I made sure that I knew the purchase price of the vehicle I wanted, my trade in value and that I already ha purchasing a new Mazda 6. Knowing all that before I dealt with the finance manager was crucial during negotiations that allowed me to get a more upper hand in my negotiations. I was helped by Stacie W who was very polite, respectful and charming sales woman. Stacie did all I asked of her in assistance to showing me the Mazda I liked in the test drive, it’s features and answering my general questions. Stacie was very pleasant to deal with and not at all an aggressive or pushy salesperson which I was glad for. Unfortunately can’t give a passing grade for the service department. Came in with a noise in rear end and they diagnosed it as bad rear brakes. Fixed the brakes and same noise was present. It was obv department. Came in with a noise in rear end and they diagnosed it as bad rear brakes. Fixed the brakes and same noise was present. It was obvious technician didn’t do a test drive after fixing the brakes. They gave this 2016 CX5 the all clear. Then Diagnosed as a bad differential but couldn’t give the cause of failure. Just wanted to replace the whole unit. Service department didn’t have tools or skill set to open differential and do diagnosis. In addition they were unable to fix a recall issues with passenger side airbags. Current Technician did not have software program to reflash and update needed program. Overall, not a good experience. I hope other Mazda dealers in the area are better equipped to handle these types of Mazda repair issues. More
