I am distressed to see the group calling itself Spreen Honda taking over t I was a loyal and regular customer of Honda Cars of Corona for 24 years. I am distressed to see the group calling itself Spreen Honda taking over this dealership; I had a very negative experience with Spreen Honda Redlands when I lived in that area in the 1990's. I brought my beloved 2003 Civic EX in for a simple service on Thursday oil and filter change. SInce the car was new, I've always brought my own jug of Mobil 1 Synthetic oil to use for the service. HC of C never charged me for the oil in the service, just the filter, washer and labor cost, for a very reasonable deal. But this time Ionnic, my service rep, charged me the same cost as if I used their oil. The service technician did not return the unused portion of the 5-qt jug of oil to me, as has always been the case before. When Ionic looked after this (as I asked before I left the dealership, where's the remaining oil?), he told me the service tech disposed of the remaining oil! Not only does that waste oil, I save up the remaining dregs after each service; and after 5 or 6 oil changes, I get enough oil to do another oil change. So they charged more than they have before for an oil change, didn't return my remaining oil, and didn't wash the car (which HCof C started doing when the virus crisis started, admittedly). Not the service I expect. I noticed yesterday less cars on the lot; wonder where all the new cars I saw in June went. They're also apparently tearing out the old kids' playroom: Why? I hope I'm wrong and they're just redoing it. I am now more unhappy, because I was made to log into this DealerRater service and create an account and password, just to ensure this review did not get taken down! That is entirely self-serving, and not appropriate. CSI ratings and customer comments are important and should not be filtered by the dealer or any third party they contract with to handle the information. I also did not directly receive a reply from Spreen Honda (maybe should start calling them Screen Honda, for trying to filter bad reviews?) about my initial comments. Instead they posted a generic "we're sorry to hear" reply on the DealerRater website. Not classy. I've never been truly unhappy with this dealership, and I'm not this time, but I've had better service from them and have come to expect a lot. This is very discomforting. More

Great Service Mayra and Kyle were great. I spent hours at other dealerships with rude, dishonest sales people. When I came to Spreen Honda Corona, Kyle and Mayra we Mayra and Kyle were great. I spent hours at other dealerships with rude, dishonest sales people. When I came to Spreen Honda Corona, Kyle and Mayra were respectful and pleasant, and quoted me a great price that was thousands lower than other dealers. They also worked hard to get me in and out of the dealer as fast as possible. Overall, I would highly recommend going to Spreen Honda for any of your car buying needs. More
