Due to my other car (a 2003 Camry) needing an engine replacement (overheating - blown cylinder head gasket), I decided to invest the money in a newer car rather than repair the Camry. Originally I was looking at a new Hyundai Accent due to its high ratings and how it would fit my budget. But after I got to the dealership and talking with Will Mills, the search was broadened to late-model used as well. The 2011 Elantra Touring Hatchback (the first car Will showed me) pretty much fit what I was really looking for. It helped that it qualified for the Certified Pre-Owned program with all the warranty incentives that came with it. Will, David Dowdy from Finance, Jordan (her first full day in Delivery) and Chad (from Delivery) all did a wonderful job from start to finish. More
A little over a year ago my husband and I bought our first Hyundai from Ricky Coplin at Sports Durst. He made us feel so comfortable with the whole process and i loved the Sonata that we bought,so when first Hyundai from Ricky Coplin at Sports Durst. I decided that i wanted a 2013 Veloster Turbo. Ricky and Misha worked diligently to make our trade as easy as possible. I am so happy with my car. A couple of weeks ago my husband and i went on our first vacation on my new Veloster. We went for a long weekend at the beach and headed home on Sunday. We were coming from Carolina Beach and only made it as far as a small town close to Jacksonville,NC. The light came on and my car was overheating. We pull off at the first exit we saw and into a little store and gas station. The first thing we did was call Ricky Coplin and and he told us exactly what to do so we called Road Side Assistance. They sent a wrecker to get us and we headed to the Hyundai dealership in Jacksonville. We were not to happy when we reached there and the dealership was closed. They are only open Monday thru Friday there which was a big surprise to us since Sports Durst Hyundai is open all the time. So I called Ricky again and he told me that i had to leave my keys in the drop box and they would contact me the first thing on Monday morning. We just happen to have very good friends who live in Jacksonville ( who by the way just bought a 2013 Sonata after seeing mine, bought theirs in Goldsboro) that came and picked us up for the night. Anyway it was a very upsetting week for me to have to leave my car in Jacksonville and come home. My car ended up having a small hole in the radiator. The reason im writing this is because it would have been a disaster if it hadnt been for the extra mile that James Juarez, Ricky Coplin, and Chuck Termper went to to take care of us through the whole thing. They even went to Jacksonville and picked my car up when the repairs were finished. I cannot praised enough these group of men and the dealership as a whole on their excellent customer service and knowing they truely care about us.In a world where customer service is what sets you apart from everyone else this dealership is top knotch. From the moment that we pulled in the parking lot I was impressed with the cars that I saw. When we started looking at them this salesman came over to us and asked us if anyone was helping us and we said n impressed with the cars that I saw. Truly enjoyed my experience in buying my first brand new car. Ricky was not pushy or in your face like other dealerships are known for. However, Alex the finance guy, which we had to piece together his name since he never introduced himself, was WAY too overbearing and arrogant. After we finished up with Ricky, Alex took us to his office where he first insulted the car I was trading in. I mean, old cars are like a fresh break up, it is only okay for me to insult them and not someone else...not that soon. He also tried to talk me out of putting so much money on my down payment, pressured us into trying to get other warranties we had never been told about before then got defensive and said "hey I don't care whether or not you get it, I don't make money off of it if you do" He was just way too in your face. Just needs to chill out and be careful about what he says or how he says it. Other than that. Loved everything. Picked my car up yesterday and am smooth sailing. More
