We found ourselves far from home with an issue that could turn bad. Luckily we were able to reach out to Spitzer Chevrolet made contact w Tyler who schedule an appt. Upon arrival Ryan Kopp met with us gave u turn bad. Luckily we were able to reach out to Spitzer Chevrolet made contact w Tyler who schedule an appt. Upon arrival Ryan Kopp met with us gave us a diagnosis of the problem. We waited a day to have all confirmed a few phone calls for approve the work and we were on the road again. It was great news to find out the work was covered under our extended warranty. We are usually in the Canton area once a year it’s good to know we have a reliable dealer if ever needed again. More

I worked at WAIKEM HONDA for 3 years so i know how the service center/parts is supposed to be ran, so trust me when i say, this spitzer service department is the bottom of the barrel :( i have a used c service center/parts is supposed to be ran, so trust me when i say, this spitzer service department is the bottom of the barrel :( i have a used chevy equinox, that i also have a 3rd party warranty i bought to go with it. having loud humming noise so i went there on june 6th because i thought what better place than to have a certified trained tech look at my car to find out what's wrong. they diagnosed a failed rear differential that would need totally replaced, which i paid a hefty sum for that diagnosis. can't drive it like it was because wheels could lock up, so definitely has to be fixed. spitzer service person, Michelle, called PROGUARD to get the approval to fix on june 6th. my car has been at spitzer's since june 6th and STILL NOT FIXED! that's 3 weeks that i've been without my only car. i will totally allow that the 1st week was spent on getting approval by proguard to do the repairs and order the parts. proguard gave that approval on june 12th, ordered my parts on june 12th, and parts came into SPITZER next day on june 13th. so i'm waiting and waiting for michelle to call me, no call. i call her on the 15th, she's off. i call again on the 16th hoping my car is done, she says no parts got delivered to her. what! so i call PROGUARD, have them track the parts, and low and behold, parts were delivered to SPITZER 4 days ago, but michelle tells me sorry, no parts (parts were sitting there, signed for by spitzer for 4 days)? now please remember that this car business has a PARTS and SERVICE department so it's not like they don't know how to receive parts and get them to the service department, they do it everyday, right? my parts were delivered and SIGNED for, by SPITZER. so my parts sat there for 4 days, as did my car, with no repairs done. But because michelle lost track of my parts sitting there for the past 4 days, she had their technician start on another car. Michelle tells me all this, says my car won't by fixed until the following tues, MAYBE wednesday. I don't have any choice but to wait til wednesday the 21st for them to fix my car and pick it up thursday the 22nd since they have all the control. no call from michelle, no update at all, today's the 22nd two days past when she said they'd start on my car, so i call her. she says they haven't even started on my car yet, the technician is STILL working on the car from last week. So i ask, it's been 3 weeks, can you have another mechanic replace my differential. she says no, they're 'short', there is no one. i am so frustrated and upset i'm crying. i'm a 61 single grandma that works full time with no other car, i've had to cancel 3 doctors appointments because i never dreamed it would take over 3 weeks for one repair, but again spitzers is in control of when they do my repair. i've been begging for rides back and forth to work for 3 weeks now i've pretty much wore out everyone's help. i can't make them fix my car so i'm pretty much at their mercy :( I thought i was doing the right thing by taking my car here, it's a chevy dealership, you'd think they would be the best, right? turns out not so much....... I'll update this if the repairs ever get done :( also, first time i've ever written a review, but i don't know what else to do, and no info, help or solutions are coming from spitzer service department. man, i do not want to leave such a bad review, but i'm getting desperate. if circumstances were not due to spitzers negligence, i would never write a bad. They are the ones that lost track of my parts that were delivered, and michelle was well aware that this is my only transportation, she made absolutely no effort to get my repairs done as soon as she found my parts, and no communication from her in the past 7 days either, i'm the one that had to call HER. is there only one technician working? if so, i'm advising to not take your car there. More
