They listened to my needs and never tried to up-sell me, but rather clarified, based on the information I gave them, what they thought I did and did NOT need. Everyone I encountered there was friendly and personable. I didn’t feel like anyone was playing games and it was incredibly refreshing. I wanted a Subaru because the brand seems to represent family values, high ethical standards, and acceptance of all lifestyles and life forms and AJ and Stephanie showed that Southern Oregon Subaru backs up everything I expected. Before we arrived at Southern Oregon Subaru late in the day, she spoke highly of both Nick Knutson, whom she dealt with the most, and Tony Hernandez, who had filled in one time when Nick was not available. When we arrived, Nick helped my cousin through the entire process, and even provided us with a tour of the service area - something that I was interested in. I was blown away by the professionalism, the friendliness and courtesy of all the employees whom we met along the way. The vehicles were pretty impressive, too! Later that evening, as we drove off in a new 2020 Forester, I vowed that if ever I were in the market for a new vehicle (mine is a very reliable older SUV, different make), I would go to Southern Oregon Subaru. They are a class act! More

Unwanted emails We priced a vehicle here in January 2019. Since then we receive frequent email advertisements, regardless of how many times I select "unsubscribe". I We priced a vehicle here in January 2019. Since then we receive frequent email advertisements, regardless of how many times I select "unsubscribe". I even called the dealer and complained. I was told the problem was the fault of Subaru USA. I contacted them and was told to contact the dealer. Unless you are lonely and want more emails, stay away from Southern Oregon Subaru. More
Extraordinary!! I leased a 2018 Impreza in feb of 2018. A deer jumped out on the freeway after dark in sept 2018. Car was totaled. I had no injuries at all! I then I leased a 2018 Impreza in feb of 2018. A deer jumped out on the freeway after dark in sept 2018. Car was totaled. I had no injuries at all! I then leased a 2019 Crosstrek. Great car. Wile having my third service done. My salesman Ron Hogan from my previous leases. Met me on the lot where I was looking at the 2020 models. The outback has made dramatic changes over the 2019 model (which I drove before leasing the Crosstrek), and I loved it. The challenge was to get me from lease to purchase and keep my payment in line. Well, being a previous customer they gave me an excellent trade value and sold me the new Outback and stayed within my budget. Extraordinary!! Always a great experience there. Hats off to Randy Nidalmia, Randy Crutchfield, Ron Hogan, Val and Wally in finance and of course Stephan Abrams in service!! Thank you all!! More
Exceptional experience Just bought my first used 2017 Subaru Outback Limited. AJ Medina was very patient and knowledgeable. I liked that. Last weekend I was comparing the Forester and the Outback with my daughter and this weekend I bought an Outback. It was a big step up from my 26 year old dinosaur vehicle. Nick Knutson was very helpful - the paperwork went very smoothly. It was a great experience all around. SO Subaru really does live up to their reputation. More
Waste of time and money, made problems worse I brought in my car a while back because it was making a horrible noise when turning the wheel, which I figured was the power steering pump. When I bo I brought in my car a while back because it was making a horrible noise when turning the wheel, which I figured was the power steering pump. When I bought it in, I brought this to the attention of the service rep who was "helping" me, named Drew, and even told him that I thought it was the pump. They diagnosed the problem as being the rack and pinion, which I actually believe needed to be replaced, replaced it and sent me on my way. The noise continued, so I had to bring it back in (from 30 min away) for them to then tell me in was in fact the steering pump. I left my car there on a Wednesday or Thursday, saying I could pick it up by end of day Friday. I get a call the next day telling me they need to order the part and my car won't be available for pick up until TUESDAY! So I finally drive back up, get my car, and make two turns out of the parking lot when it just dies on me in the middle of the street, not 50 feet from the dealership. I'm able to start it again and so I bring it back around, where they tell me the car needs to "re-learn its idle" after a plume of smoke had come out the exhaust. I drove it home and since then my car continues to die, accelerate erratically, suck gas, and cue the check engine light, constantly putting my car into limp-home mode. According to my access port, the fuel system is running rich. NONE of this ever happened until I picked it up from the dealership for the second time. Worst of all, I called in (today is 3/4) and they tell me they won't have a loaner car for me until the 17th, showing no remorse for the situation they put me in, making all of this my problem due to their incompetence. I understand my car is an '08 but it has about 60k miles on the engine, has been serviced regularly, and properly maintained as a whole. This kind of treatment and service is completely ridiculous, unprofessional, shady, and disgraceful. If you drive a Subaru, like many of us in the Rogue Valley do, do yourself a favor and get your car serviced anywhere but here. You've lost a valued customer. More
