Great Deal on a 2013 Azera Lease Last week dropping in for a warranty service request on my 2013 Sonata. I left with a loaner Azera and ended up leasing the white 2013 Azera. I was not really looking at trading in a 2013 Sonata for a bigger and better Azera but once the lease numbers were passed to me -- with no money down and my trade, it came to less than my monthly COX Communications bill. I could not resist that monthly bill for what i was getting a very nice near luxury sedan. The Hall Hyundai sale staff were very easy to work with and I even got some breaks (at least I think I didi). This is my fourth car from this dealership since 2010. Jamie Cornette was my salesman and I would recommend him to any friend. He of course wants to make some money off of you but is knowledgeable, reasonable and very pleasent to work with and gave me a sincere impression of wanting to make me happy with the new 2013 Azera. He did and I am sure if any issues crop up he will be on my side. More
I had not purchased a new car in 11 years. Jamie was so personable and answered all my questions about the new technology and all the bells and whistles on my new vehicle. Our experience at Hall Hyundai began not on a bright sunny Saturday as most buyers begin, but on a cold, rainy, Friday night just before closing. Despite the adverse conditions, our salesperson, Ashley Cline, came out to greet us, immediately indicating that Hall Hyundai was a place where the customer service was important. Our subsequent visits to Hall were a similar experience, and we were treated professionally, courteously, and with respect. Our questions were answered promptly, correctly, and with no dealer spin. The financial/business side of the experience was handled transparently, with the salesperson and manager communicating with us on our terms, clearly, concisely and with no pressure. The price we agreed to was extremely competitive based on comparison to local and out of state dealers. I would highly recommend Hall Hyundai and our salesperson Ashley Cline to anyone looking for a pleasurable automobile buying experience. More
MY HUSBAND AND I PURCHASED A USED CAR FROM HALL HYUNDAI AND THE ENTIRE PROCESS HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT xxxx. IN THE BUSINESS OFFICE, WE WERE HASSLED ON WHY WE HAD CHOSE NOT TO PURCHASE GAP, WARRANTY'S, ETC. T AND THE ENTIRE PROCESS HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT xxxx. IN THE BUSINESS OFFICE, WE WERE HASSLED ON WHY WE HAD CHOSE NOT TO PURCHASE GAP, WARRANTY'S, ETC. THIS WAS NOT HALL HYUNDAI'S BUSINESS. WE BOTH FELT WE NEEDED TO DEFEND OURSELVES IN OUR REASONING. AFTER PURCHASING THROUGH THEIR "IN HOUSE" BANK (HAMPTON ROADS FINANCE) WE WERE LIED TO SEVERAL TIMES ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THE LOAN. FOR INSTANCE, PAYING MORE WENT TOWARDS THE PRINCIPLE, THIS IS A LIE. WE ALWAYS MADE SLIGHTLY MORE ON OUR LOAN AND NOTICED OUR MONTHLY PAYMENTS WERE X AMOUNT OF DOLLARS LESS WHICH SO HAPPENED TO BE WHATEVER WE PAID EXTRA THE MONTH BEFORE. ONCE WE ASKED HRFC THEY SAID THE DEALERSHIP LIED TO US. "SHAQ" AS HE REFFERED TO HIMSELF SAID THE LOAN FROM DAY ONE WAS THE AMOUNT + THE INTEREST, SO IF WE PAID OFF EARLY, WE RECEIVED THE INTEREST WE WOULD HAVE PAID BACK. WELL NEWSFLASH, ONCE WE CALLED PAT AT HRFC SHE STATED THIS WAS ANOTHER LIE AND THE LOAN GROWS IN INTEREST EVERYDAY. THE STATEMENT "SHAQ" MADE US, AS WELL AS JEFF, WAS A LIE. THE AUTO SHOP THEY USE AT HALL CHEVROLET IS A FLIPPING JOKE!! THEY DID SOME MAINTENANCE ON OUR CAR, DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM AND SAID WE WERE "HEARING THINGS". WOW, THE ENTIRE CORPORATION IS A JOKE. BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE, AND DO NOT BE NAIVE AND DUMB LIKE WE WERE. WE TRUSTED JEFF, AS WE WERE FIRST TIME CAR BUYERS. HE SAID THE CAR WE PURCHASED HAD NO ACCIDENTS AND WAS IN PERFECT CONDITION. HE EVEN THREW IN FLOOR MATS TO SWEETEN THE DEAL. COME TO FIND OUT, AS I WORK WITH AUTOCHECKS AND CARFAXES ON A DAILY BASIS. I DECIDED TO LOOK UP MY VIN NUMBER CASUALLY ONE DAY AT WORK AS SOME ISSUES WE WERE HAVING COULD NOT HAVE COME FROM US. OF COURSE THE AUTOCHECK POPS UP AN ACCIDENT PRIOR TO OUR PURCHASE. I AM UNAWARE IF SATAN JEFF STILL WORKS THERE TO THIS DAY, THE SAME WITH "SHAQ", BUT BE AWARE OF WHO YOU ARE WORKING WITH. PLEASE REMEMBER TO ALWAYS ASK FOR CARFAXES OR AUTOCHECKS AND DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR LIES AND MISREPRESENTATIONS!! I TELL YOU FROM EXPERIENCE, WE DO NOT CARRY OUR VEHICLE TO ANY OF THEIR SERVICE LOCATIONS, NOR WILL WE EVER BUY A VEHICLE FROM THEM AGAIN!!! CUSTOMERS BEWARE, CROOKS!! More
My car was totaled in a flood and I was preparing to file for GAP insurance. I called the dealership, was transferred twice , calls rang back to the operator, and eventually ended up in someones voicemail. T for GAP insurance. The person called back, I explained my situation that I needed a claim form, and was laughed at. He stated that in 15 years of doing his job, he had NEVER been asked for a claim form. I stated that I would read the statement on the insurance form that I signed, which stated that I COULD get a claim form from the dealer, or the Insurance company. He suggested that I contact the insurance company. I DO NOT appreciate being laughed at.......I called the dealership back after seeing a vehicle on their website that I was interested in, a Sante Fe. I asked repeatedly if it was available. I was told It was. I made an appointment to see it on saturday morning. This was thursday night. Got a call on fridaysaying the internet person was wrong....The car was NOT available. But the salesman said to give him a call, as he would have other options available. Called him back, he was with a customer, but would call me back with a SWEET deal......This was friday afternoon. Now I sit here on a wednesday afternoon, after reading the email, NOT a phone call, saying he was busy but would I be interested in a 2013? I don't think so......Got another car from a dealership who practices customer service. More

He listened to me to find out exactly what I wanted and was looking to buy. Based on my latest experience with their service department, I would not recommend this dealership. I had the oil changed in my Santa Fe on Friday June 8th. Got there around 9:30am, I was told it wo department, I would not recommend this dealership. I had the oil changed in my Santa Fe on Friday June 8th. Got there around 9:30am, I was told it would take between 45 min to an hour. At around 11am I saw my vehicle parked outside, so I asked if my car was ready, the guy checked his computer and said, yes it is! So I drive home, and that afternoon when my husband gets home, he tells me he had a message on his cellphone from the dealership saying that the car was ready, they left this message at 10am!! So this means that they forgot I was sitting in their waiting area, I waited for an hour and a half when I could have waited just half an hour. I wonder how long would I have been there if I hadn't checked with them if the car was ready, when were they going to realize that their client was sitting in their waiting area. I specifically told them "I will be waiting here", I was with my 8 months old son sitting right outside their door! More
Overall we were pleased with the dealership and the sales associate who worked with us. We feel they could have been more competitive with the price. I had my aunt and uncle come in to help me in figuring out what would be a good price for the car I purchased, and she worked with them as well to help me get the best deal. All in all, my experience with Ashley Clines was amazing for being a first time car buyer! More
