I told the staff what I wanted and what I could pay and both Mark McLeod and Mark Stanley did everything they could and got me an excellent car. The car is in my price range and I did not have to settle for anything less! I purchased the 2005 Ford 500 and am more then happy with it. Everyone in the Hall Ford family was very friendly as I walked through doing paperwork and getting everything situated. Everyone was smiling and were extremely helpful. After graduating from Clemson University I went to a Toyota dealership in South Carolina and bought a new Tacoma. I didn't have the best purchasing experience and wasn't completely satisfied with my truck's performance. When I went to look for a new truck a few friends recommended I look at Ford. First I went to Williamsburg Ford but once again didn't have the best experience. However; when I came to Hall Ford, Ezekiel greeted my friend and I with a smile and was more than helpful when showing us new trucks. I was very disappointed when it didn't appear you had the exact truck that I wanted (4x4 with the Ecoboost engine) but Ezekiel left momentarily to return with the great news that one had been delivered that morning and was parked on the opposite side of the lot. After I made the decision to purchase I went inside and was introduced to John Barron. When I began talking to him I found that he was just as friendly and helpful as Ezekiel. They not only helped me to find my great new truck but also helped me to get the most for the truck I was selling. Overall I believe that you have a great staff there and I hope that the rest of your staff is as friendly and helpful as Ezekiel and John were for me. The day after I bought my used CX-9 I found a problem with the transmission shifting properly. The problem is being fixed, but I feel it was handled poorly. I left the car with the dealer to be looked at with the transmission shifting properly. The problem is being fixed, but I feel it was handled poorly. I left the car with the dealer to be looked at and then was told later it would not looked the same day. I lost four hours of work for no reason. Very upset. This is Friday the 4th and would not be looked at until Monday the 7th. Most likely missing more hours at work. The dealer did not contact the other dealership that was to look at the vehicle to see if they had time Friday to trouble shoot. I don't mind spending the time needed to take care of the problem ,but not wasting my time. I had to go between the used car showroom and the service department to make arrangements for a loaner car and the service at the other dealership. The used car department was not very helpful in the matter. I told Hall that I needed to get some belongings from my vehicle and would go to the other dealership. At the other dealership I asked to see my vehicle and talked with the technician who showed me the problem and the recommended repairs along with the time frame to do so. The salesman should have taken care of all of this, not me, but do not have the time to wait for people that have no interest in my problem. It was very upsetting and have been a customer for almost 20 years. I'm not sure if I'll go back to Hall again. The employees listed above that work in the used car showroom were not part of this. Both of them were very helpful and one was off and the other had gone home for the day. This was the second time I bought from Gus and a good experience both times. More
