Everyone Lee, the sales manager to the finance manager did everything to make me feel like they really appreciated my business. I had traveled three and a half hours because they had the best deal and the exact car we wanted. Not only did the staff organize the requested car to be transferred from another dealership within a day they also were very helpful to find affordable insurance (This is a real problem for a 21 year old!). Transmission Awesome, Awesome, Awesome...oh did I mention awesome! Patrick Housden is the representative I'm talking about. I came in on a Monday with fear that so Awesome, Awesome, Awesome...oh did I mention awesome! Patrick Housden is the representative I'm talking about. I came in on a Monday with fear that something terrible was wrong with my only form of transportation. From the moment we met at the service desk, he was nothing but nice to me. He knew my concerns and said that he too was on the other side of the desk and would help me all that he could. I was shuttled back to work and during the course of the day Patrick kept me informed of the review of my car. Finally the news came that it was the transmission. The price tag was hard to swallow, but Patrick did not give up. He dug in there for me. He saw me through the whole process. He set up a rental for me through Enterprise, and continued to doggedly follow through until he was able to find that my warranty covered it. Phew! What a huge relief! Within one week I went from fears and tears to sheer joy! I'm back in my vehicle because Patrick went above and beyond normal service protocol to truly help. Thank God for Patrick! More
Customers for life I went to another Dealership first and they said it would be a 20 minute wait to even talk to a salesperson, so we got on the list and started walki I went to another Dealership first and they said it would be a 20 minute wait to even talk to a salesperson, so we got on the list and started walking the lot. It wasn't a Ford Dealership but my wife has been saying I want a Ford Escape for 2 years, especially every time she saw one on TV. Well CARMAX (not promoting because we were made to really feel unimportant)and actually had one, but not the color she wanted and definitely not on the same planet on price. We looked at every Vehicle they had that was along the lines of what we were looking for, even a Lincoln Navigator which is what I wanted. We also paid attention to the gas mileage of all the vehicles as well. 45 minutes went by on our 20 minute wait and we went back through the showroom to go to the other side where our trade in was parked. We walked less than a foot in front of the sales desk with about 5 managers/ Sales People behind it and didn't even get a glance. I know this is a long story but I feel that it is all pertinent to give a honest review of my experience. So we headed up the road to the Ford Dealership and arrived at Hall Ford Lincoln. Now I think it is important to point out that we were not browsers or window shoppers. We were buyers looking to buy 2 cars that day and we were going to find someone to sell them to us so we were not the kind of people that should be ignored at a Dealership. It was Saturday so all Car places were pretty busy but we went into the showroom and headed towards someone to atleast show us where the types of cars we were looking for were located, and we ran into the Loveable and sincere Grandfather, Mr. Jimmy House who had 2 customers sitting at his desk. He pardoned himself to the couple for a moment to welcome us to Hall Ford. He said he would try to find someone to take care of us even though he was almost finished with his current customers who were only waiting to go into finance but still should not be just left alone and told that the Finance Manager would call them shortly. Well jimmy found someone to help us. I joked at the person he turned us over to that it was a bummer that Jimmy was going to have to split the deal with him when Jimmy would be done in the next 10 minutes, and he said no he won't I'm the General Manager. e of years. While she was panting I started looking at other SUV's and Jimmy came out and said I am 100% yours now and what can I do to make your day? So I told him. It was a lot and somewhat complicated but he took it all in. Just before he showed up I found a beautiful Ford Edge that met all of my requirements and at nearly double the gas mileage of what I thought I had wanted. We test drove my wife's first and she said this is it, I want this one, so we had her to park it right in front of the showroom. Jimmy did a walk around for me to familiarize me with my vehicle and then we went for a test drive. after a mile I looked over and told Jimmy I was already in love with the car and we could make the numbers work right, then he would have a Hat Trick (a.k.a. 3 car day) and Jimmy said I am going to do everything in my power to make it happen for you.Wow! We went back inside to his desk and started laying out how we wanted our financial situation to be. We did not need to haggle or negotiate one bit because when he found out I was a disabled veteran, he informed us that he had to sell us my wife's brand new car at cost. HUH? Cost? Wow! Now that's a way to show appreciation for a Military Veteran. And on top of that we got a $750 rebate. Sweeter by the second. He dropped the price on my car just to be able to meet my budget requirements so no need to haggle. Our entire time at Hall Ford Jimmy and the managers and everyone else as well made us feel like Family. We will never buy a car anywhere else or from anyone else other than JIMMY HOUSE AT HALL FORD LINCOLN and you shouldn't either!! Thank you JIMMY More
Worth Driving to the Peninsula I did a lot of my own research before buying, and these folks did not try to pressure me into buying their inventory. They went and retrieved the car we wanted from a dealer over 200 miles away, and we still got an outstanding price. While they did go over some add-ons, there was no pressure on any of them. Some I wasn't aware of, and I actually did decide to purchase one of them. I told them some accessories from the manufacturer that I wanted (those that are dealer adds and not ordered with the car), and they provided all of them and did push any of the ones I was not interested in. This was by far my most pleasant car purchase experience, and I look forward to a long customer-dealer relationship with them -- despite the drive! More

Patrick Houdsen is the reason why I purchased my 2014 Escape from the dealership. He is my service advisor and can tell me anything I need to know about my car and always helps me with my service needs and questions, even if my car is not in for service at the time. Last week I reached out to him because my tire was low and, because it has Nitrogen, I was not sure if I could put regular air in it. I left me a message and he quickly phoned me back to answer my question even though my car was not in for service at the time. This is the way he has always been and, again the reason why I bought my latest ford from this dealership. Hall Ford in Newport News is lucky to have someone like Patrick working for them that takes such good care of it's customers. It is the service that matters the most and what will keep customers coming back to buy cars from this dealership. More
