They were a great team to have in way of finding the right truck for I was very happy with Christopher Vandenheede and my sales person Melinda Vere. They were a great team to have in way of finding the right truck for my situation. Melinda Vere used the discovery process in finding out my needs and wishes. I felt , my time spent was not wasted. They brought up a few trucks for me to see, as it was raining . They offered an umbrella to my wife and I. I sat in the ruck and Chris Vandenheede stood outside the truck in the rain answering my questions and was not concerned with getting wet but concerned in answering my questions and making sure that I understood. Melinda Vere was also in the rain answering questions with my wife. and had an umbrella which she held for my wife. They wanted to help us find a great truck for a good price and they did. I am very happy. thank-you Melinda and Chris. Anyone who works that hard can earn my business. More
Poor sales tactics After purchasing several vehicles from Hall I took my son there on April 23 2016. He was looking at a 2013 Focus Titanium he decided that was the car After purchasing several vehicles from Hall I took my son there on April 23 2016. He was looking at a 2013 Focus Titanium he decided that was the car he wanted. We went in and did the paperwork to see if he qualifed and they asked me if I would cosign so I did. After about an hour or so the finance manager came out and said he was approved but wanted to work on the deal some more to try and get his payments down even lower so they put dealer tags on the car and let him drive it home over the weekend. Went back on Monday to sign the paperwork and after signing the certification paperwork since it was a certified used car we were told they could not get it financed but could get a 2014 Focus Se financed. At this point I am thinking what happened to the deal from saturday. So after a bit I asked Jole what happened between Sat and Mon and he said what do you mean. I said we were told Sat that he was aproved for the 2013 when we left on Sat and he said we were never approved for that car he had the deal for the 2014 and that we should not have drove the 2013 home. At no time did any one say that we could not get the 2013 nor did we even look at the 2014. I have never been treated in such a way when buying a car. If you want to sell cars you need to inform the customer that there is a problem not just pick a vehicle that you want to put them in. I have been a customer since 2003 and bought a 2013 escape in January of 2016. After this I will not step foot in their deslership again nor have my vehicle serviced by them. I will probably have it serviced at Williamsburg Ford. I even reached out to Hall Automotive and the only response I have gotten was that they received my iquiry and would be contacted which was a week ago. If you like being told the vehicle to buy this is the place to go otherwise stay away. More

We informed him of what we were looking for, and he immediately began searching for our request. Within minutes, 2 cars were pulled to the front so we could take them for a test drive. After the drive, Albert readily answered all questions that we had, and then left us alone so we could discuss everything. We decided to purchase, and Albert made sure everything went as smoothly and painlessly as possible! We were impressed by the very genuine Albert, and his eagerness to please. He was so easy to work with, and we could have not asked for a better salesman. He's quite a nice fellow! The rest of the staff was also very friendly...you've made these customers quite happy:) More

Great service department I've been dealing with Hall since 1997, when it was also Hall Mitsubishi. I bought a Mirage first, then an Eclipse Spyder convertible in 2007. I so appreciate the service department for ease of scheduling, politeness, good prices, and, of course, free inspections. My only complaint has nothing to do with them; it's the difficulty using the call center telephone numbers to reach them. Yesterday (Feb. 17, 2016), I spent several useless minutes trying to reach Hall Ford Lincoln in Newport News by using the toll-free number provided on the website. How annoying to be connected to a person who had no idea how to help me. I needed an estimate on some body work, not knowing that Hall no longer had a body shop. The person at the call center told me I had an appointment today at 2:00 p.m. with Larry. When I arrived at Hall Ford Lincoln in Newport News to keep this appointment, naturally there was no such person. Fortunately, in keeping with their usual excellent service, the folks behind the counter used the computer to "find" me and explain that they no longer had a body shop. They called Bay Custom Auto nearby and set up an immediate appointment for me. They also gave me their local number so I won't have to use the call center ever again. I would be so happy if the Hall corporation would revert to using local numbers. More
