We thought this was a gimmick like every other dealership program to lure you. Let us just say this in the end to trade our Ford F-150 for a Jeep Wrangler shocked both Kevin and I. First after I made Scott (our amazing sales representative) wait so I could google search some things we found that the Jeep Wrangler holds its value about 8% more than the Ford F-150. After finding one on the lot we liked skeptically said ok let's talk numbers. This is where it was a no brainer after the numbers came back. The same monthly payment for a brand new 2017 Jeep with 57 miles, 2013 Ford had 40,000 mi.. The Southern Hospitality Buyers Program at no extra cost covers Lifetime Oil and Filter Changes, Lifetime VA State Inspections, Lifetime Loaner Car, Lifetime Towing, Lifetime Service, Lifetime Parts, Lifetime Engine Guarantee, 24 hr Test Drive, 24 hr Roadside Assistance. Zinger... if we get a flat they replace it with a brand new tire. Bazinga!!! They were all incredibly nice and just and overall down to earth group of people working for Jeep. BEST LOCAL PRICE ON NEW JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE I researched and got written quotes from all local Jeep dealerships over a period of about three weeks before deciding to buy from Southern. They off I researched and got written quotes from all local Jeep dealerships over a period of about three weeks before deciding to buy from Southern. They offered to beat every written quote I sent them from the other dealerships and offered exactly what I asked for on my trade in before even seeing it. They did not have the exact Grand Cherokee I wanted in stock so I showed them an example from another local dealership. They actually purchased the example I sent them and sold it to me for $500.00 less than the quote from the original dealership. It was the end of the month and dealerships do sometimes make great deals to meet quotas, but I was still surprised at the great price I got and the no haggle trade in deal. I had preapproved financing and was already familiar with the Grand Cherokee so the entire buying process was under three hours. Very happy with my buying experience! More

Disorganized and Deceptive Dealership Poor experience with sales staff. My son set up an appointment for us to look at a particular Jeep. When we arrived, not only was the Jeep not at th Poor experience with sales staff. My son set up an appointment for us to look at a particular Jeep. When we arrived, not only was the Jeep not at the dealership, but when we got to their other showroom the vehicle was in prep (not even on the lot) and no key. Despite all this, my son drove another to see how they handled and we asked for an out the door price for the vehicle he wanted. We shared our position based on web research and indicated most buyers were paying between $1,800 and $2,000 below MSRP. After being told they don't discount vehicles (even though several were discounted on their website), the salesman took our position to the manager. He returned and told us good news, they would discount $1,800 off MSRP. We looked at the printout and noted they did in fact discount it but after they added $2,000 to the MSRP. True story! The salesman told us that was to cover their costs to take the plastic off the new vehicle and change the oil. I'm not making this up! We were unhappy with all this and went to another dealer in VA Beach area and got a fair deal and my son now has what he wanted. Stay away from these guys....or if you have to use them, watch them closely. More

We left and came back and nothing had happened! Our salesman didn't know how to do his job or even how to properly explain the terms of our deal and in the end tried to rely on half a text message. News flash, a cryptic text message with less than 50 characters tells you nothing. Part of the problem was that Southern Jeep Greenbrier low balled our trade in. The other part was that the finance team was unable to secure competitive financing. The funds from our previous extended warranty were stolen out of our pocket and we were lied to. The last one pushed us over the edge, though I'm still not sure which grievance is worse. The entire experience was exhausting and draining. They managed to suck all the joy from buying our happy purple jeep. I never thought I'd say this but buying a vehicle from Walmart would have been better. And guess what, that day is coming. More

For starters its incredibly difficult to get in touch with anyone other than the receptionist, who then transfers you around until a random person picks up and its a completely separate department. When i got my vehicle they put a warranty package on my vehicle that they "forgot" to include so I was stuck making monthly payments. Well apparently they "forgot" to process these payments for 6 months and now I'm stuck still making these payments. Allison decided too tell me well I don't know what happened maybe your card was declined. No it absolutely was not declined, I had to inform her that she would probably call me if it was declined or there would be decline receipts. This is just horrible business. Let me not forget that when I originally got my vehicle it was missing a key I had to jump through hoops to get the second key that was promised to me. No one know what they are doing there. Trying to get in touch with her supervisor virtually impossible. Left a message, waiting now. I will be getting in contact with the General Manager because this is just bad business. If I had not been holding up my end they would sue me Im sure but because they messed up I'm still stuck paying on something that was supposed to be done by now. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! We had our ABS light on and check engine light on. Once they called with the outrageous price to do the work, we told them no because I called my local mechanic who said he could do the work for $1000 less. When we picked up the car from them they billed use for 2 diagnostic tests saying because the car had 2 lights on and it's 2 separate problems. We were only told the total would be $89 if we chose not to use them for repairs. The service rep wrote another $89 on the check sheet after we had told him we got a much better quote. I'm no car genius but I know you only hook the diagnostic machine up once and it tells you the error codes for the vehicle problems. Extremely shady dealership with poor customer service. Service rep said he told us the day before that it was $89 for each problem which is not true. Paper work showed $89 written in hand next to each problem we told him which could have been added after the fact. The service rep couldn't even remember our names but apparently can recall exactly telling us it was $89 for each diagnostic problem which is a blatant lie.the only explanation I can come up with is they were not happy I found somewhere else to do the work for $1000 cheaper and decided they needed to make more money off us because we weren't doing the work with them. More
