If I could give them no stars I would. Hall Chevrolet service is horrible. I dropped my truck off Monday evening for a appt on Tuesday at 0800. I want contact and told by Ray one of the service advisors service is horrible. I dropped my truck off Monday evening for a appt on Tuesday at 0800. I want contact and told by Ray one of the service advisors that he would call me when they have an estimate of repairs. After not being called all day I contacted Ray and asked about my truck and have they looked at it yet, he said no and he was still waiting on someone to finish looking it over. Well at 4:30, I told them that since no has even looked at it at all, that I will be coming to get it to take it to another dealership for service. Ray got mad and was like yea, come get it then. No freaking customer service what so ever! I wasted a whole day for nothing. This is the last time I ever come to Hall Chevrolet. More
I will respond to the survey from 2 different perspectives. I actually had an appt for Monday 7:30 and didn’t receive my vehicle until Friday after 4:30. That type of time frame could’ve suggeste perspectives. I actually had an appt for Monday 7:30 and didn’t receive my vehicle until Friday after 4:30. That type of time frame could’ve suggested I needed body work for my vehicle. However, it was to change out a charcoal filter and evap gas line. I’m clueless as to why it would need to take an entire work week to finish a one day job. Everyday was a battle to see if I was going to get my truck back. After 12 each day I patiently waited knowing if I hadn’t got a call by then it pretty much meant another day without a car. I kept getting calls after three knowing at that point the news was going to be tomorrow and after 4 tomorrows and a call to the service manager I finally received my truck Friday. I do commend Mr. Todd as he responded to me twice in his day off and took responsibility for something he wasn’t involved in, being a great leader. I just question why he had to be involved in the first please. The only answer I can come up with is lack of communication somewhere in the chain. Although my truck is old and in need of repairs, it’s still a part of the family as it gets my son to and from his job with no problems. I have purchased 2 chevys brand new from this dealership and vowed to only let them do the repairs even after 10-15 years knowing the amount would be 2 times greater. And although it was it gave me peace of mind because I could always go back to them and feel like they would get it right. Well they got it right again but too late this time. This is the second time I’ve had to contact a manager and it was not Mr. Todd. And I must admit it was over a year ago and it was corrected, but the pattern is still there. what I don’t think the advisors realize is that to be without a vehicle, be it older or newer model, people are without transportation. I know it sounds crazy but people rely on the transportation they rely on and the lack of communication or late calls about not receiving your vehicles puts people in tough situations because you have to plan to get picked up or dropped off so that you can actually retrieve your vehicle. We don’t live at the dealership and working f there all day must be making some of the employees numb about communicating and completing their assignments in the bay on the vehicles they are responsible for. If this job would’ve been an engine I could completely understand but 5 days for a gas line while paying over a 1100 for a repair is unacceptable. After this incident, I won’t be returning to this device dept again. However I do want to commend their service manager for getting the work completed for me after a call to him. Mr. Ray also did what he was asked to do as well. I have my car, I haven’t tried to put gas into it yet but my hopes are that it is repaired after 5 days. Thanks for your time and consideration. I live never filled out a survey but from this point on I think I’ll make certain to fill them out to point out the good that many people do in their jobs because if you wait until it’s a problem many people won’t get the benefit of doubt. So after 15 years, it’s off to find a new dept to pay for repairs which will be difficult but needed for just peace of mind. Thanks More
