Came in with a check engine light that had come on out of no where. I’m a single Dad and had been out with my son. I didn’t have a way to get my truck back to the dealership to be serviced. Came in b/c check engine light. Was informed several areas needed repair. Some of the things (brakes, tires) have had different readings last 4 visits. They went from better to worse to better to worse over time without service over the past few years causing me to doubt, mistrust my service advisor. After being told 2 things would cause me to fail inspection (check engine lightcaused by O2 sensor and sway bar link) i agreed to repair them and a few other things. However after repairs began i was informed the mechanic broke the means the O2 sensor attached to y pipe, and i would have to pay an additional 350 - despite it not being broken before he touched it. I asked to speak with manager who told me sometimes these things and i have to accept that. I told him my distrust issue with service and he verified myvreadings have been changing over the years. Bit that he was new and thing sould be better now. In my opinion being told i have tobpay for breakage caused by a mechanic is poor customer service. Then to be told i admit the issues you had wete valid but it was before my tome is poor leadership. I elected to get towed (to get what halls service broke) fixed at another facility because of my concerns the poor customer service and poor leadership would continue. Whrn i arrived to pay, my advisor initially kept trying to charge me for the unfinished service (that which made my vehicle worse). It was only after i asked to speak again to the Service manager that she took off some of the charges. More
