Blatant Lies Terrible, shady, lying business practices. Told me the truck I was looking at recently sold. It was located at GMC Greenbriar. Tried to offer me same negotiated price for $6K MSRP cheaper truck on THEIR lot, like they were doing me a deal . Then low-balled my trade-in, so I left. Worst part is, I found out later the original truck at GMC Greenbriar hadn't even sold! They blatantly lied and tried to sucker me! Makes me sick and they should be ashamed. Amanda the Internet Sales Manager and Brad the manager were the two biggest liars who tried to pull off this shady con move after a week of negotiations. Go elsewhere! More
Pissed Customer I bought my kia sorenta on December 22, 2016 not one problem with the salesperson Bailey, good salesperson so i thought on January 31, i text Bailey t I bought my kia sorenta on December 22, 2016 not one problem with the salesperson Bailey, good salesperson so i thought on January 31, i text Bailey to let her know i had a slow leak in my tire and that i went to a local tire place to get the tire fixed but the tires had locks on them and that the gentleman couldn't fixed my tire without the wheel lock key, i was told i bought a used vehicle so it's as is, well i talked to the sevice department and i was transferred about six times between departments until i talked to Lori in the service department she told me everything would be taken care of and to come to the service department and ask for her on February 1, 2017. I left work in Portsmouth and made it to lynhaven Kia i spoke with lori she gave me a wheel lock kit, Lori told me on the phone they would take care of it so i assumed they would change my tire and find out the problem, but i was wrong, so i had to drive back to Portsmouth on a half flat tire, i took it back to the local tire place and come to find out this was the wrong kit, they gave me a wheel lock set, i didn't need a wheel lock set, the wheels were already locked i needed the tool to unlock the wheels. They didn't listen to me so now o habe a wheel lock set o dont need. All i wanted was to get my tire fixed thats all, they really gave me a bad taste in my mouth i will never recommend any body to buy a car from this dealership.i have the Southern Hospitality buyers program warranty as well as a limited warranty, but if i would've broke down on the side of the road or the tire burst on me they would've sent a tow truck to change the tire, well my question is why couldn't they just change my tire instead of giving me the run around. However, run as fast as you can away from the service department!!!! I have had multiple issues with our 2nd car (also a Kia) that have been going on for 6 months and are still waiting on resolve. Multiple calls went unanswered, I had to wait for 5 hours with 2 small children for my car to get "looked at". After all that time they did nothing to fix the car but said they needed to schedule a time to work on it. I have had not one positive experience with their service department. They are not helpful or organized in the least. Such rude business practice to not return phone calls when you are in need of your car being fixed so you can use it. Not sure why we purchased our new Kia here but I instantly regretted it. More

Service department is terrible I am a 20 year customer at Southern of Lynnhaven and have bought five cars from this place. I thought my loyalty meant something but I guess not. On 29 Feb I had an appointment to bring my car in for a state inspection and oil change. I had a 7:30 am appointment. When I went to check on the car's progress I was informed that it had not even been brought into the garage and that it would be a few hours. I ask why and I was told by Adam the Advisor that he had four cars get dropped off the night before that took priority over me even though I had an appointment. Adam was a little rood when I told him that I had to know because I had an appointment at 10 am and need to find a way home. Three hours later I get a phone call telling me that I had failed the inspection. One of the items I failed for had been missing for 4 years and this place was the only place I had this car inspection by for those four years. Kind of funny how I complained and failed an inspection. Needless to say the repair of this car cost me $400 at Southern and I had to call for three straight days to find the status of my car. Keith the service manager and Adam the advisory are the worst at customer service. I will not be brining my car back to this place ever. I would think twice before using this place. The description of this truck seemed to be what I was looking for and when I went to look at it, I found what I wanted. I was introduced to Todd who is their truck specialist. He showed me several trucks but when I explained to him what I was looking for along with the "must haves" and the "can do with outs" and found the truck I liked, he said "Let's go for a drive" and did not try to steer me towards a truck I didn't want. I've dealt with several sales persons at different dealerships over the years and I can definitely say he has been the easiest person to work with. I will definitely recommend friends to come see him for their next truck or SUV purchase. Also, the sales team really worked hard to get me at the price I was willing to pay without a bunch of hassle. More
