Worst Decision I Have Ever Made I purchased a used 2015 Kia Cadenza on Saturday January 5, 2019. During the test drive everything functioned properly. Once I decided to trade in my v I purchased a used 2015 Kia Cadenza on Saturday January 5, 2019. During the test drive everything functioned properly. Once I decided to trade in my vehicle and purchase the Kia, I had to go through all of the paperwork while they detailed it and gassed it up. On the drive home, my husband was playing with all of the controls, making sure they all still worked. That is when he found out that sunroof was no longer working. We started researching online and read that it might need to be reset if the battery terminals had been disconnected. On Tuesday January 8 my husband drove the car to work because the Kia of Chesapeake is right down the street. The service department at that location said they did not know what was wrong. Around lunch time I spoke to Furman Marshall, my salesman, about this issue and about coming in to make my down payment that they did not collect while I was there purchasing the vehicle. Furman told me that I could come in the following day, Wed. Jan. 9, to give my deposit, drop my car off for service, and get a loaner for the time being. I showed up after work on Wednesday to find that Furman was off. The service department informed me that no appointment was made and that there was not a loaner car for me. TJ had no problem taking my down payment. After explaining to Willie in Service that I had been told I would be taken care of today, he simply apologized and made an appointment for the following day, Thursday Jan. 10. I made yet another trip there and this time I was given a loaner car. Now, in my past experience getting rental cars I was always given something comparable in size to the vehicle that I normally drive. Well, not in this case. They gave me a Kia Rio, a small compact car that made me feel like a giant, hitting my head on the roof anytime I needed to turn my head and check behind me. Once I got on the highway to go home, I noticed the gas tank was on E and actually dropping below the E. This was very frustrating seeing that I had to make an unnecessary exit to stop and get gas so that I could make it home. Friday Jan. 11 I received a voicemail from the service department saying that something strange was definitely going on and that they were going to have to contact corporate on Monday. I called in the morning on Monday Jan. 14 and was told that they still have no idea what is wrong and have no idea how long I will have to have the loaner car. That is when I told them I was unhappy with it so I was told I'd be contacted about a different loaner car. As the day went on, I never got a phone call about the loaner but did hear back about it being a possible switch issue with the sunroof. Today, Tuesday Jan. 15 I was told by service that it was a switch issue and the new switch would take about 3 days to come in. I was then told that I needed to bring the loaner car back because someone else was interested in it and I would get something more comparable in size and features and my Cadenza. At this point, I did not want to even make yet ANOTHER trip there but it seemed like I had no choice. After a long day of work I had to fight through the traffic and go out of my way to exchange vehicles. I am now in a more comparable car, but I am still 110% dissatisfied with how this whole situation has turned out. I have owned the Cadenza for a total of 10 days so far, and it has been stuck back at the dealership for 5 of those days and will be there for AT LEAST 3 more. I am pregnant and have been nothing except stressed out and upset over all of this. I have lost sleep and regretted ever coming to this dealership. I am now worrying that the stress from Kia Lynnhaven is having a negative effect on my unborn child. If I could do this all over again, I would. There is no way in xxxx I would EVER recommend this dealership to anyone. Things have been handled extremely poorly. More

Oil Change I’m never let down when it comes to oul changes performed on any of my vehicles, they made a few recommendations as far as maintenance was concerned a I’m never let down when it comes to oul changes performed on any of my vehicles, they made a few recommendations as far as maintenance was concerned and went with a brake fluid flush... the Enclave came back with better brake response than when I dropped it off. Dealing with Management to negotiate the price I desired was fun and having to make suggestions on how to improve the bottom line. After that was done and the initial paperwork was signed, then came the up-selling first with the Delivery Consultant with the pitch of the protection packages. "Katie" provided a great presentation and worked with me to down-size my cost of the protection products. Until I sat down with "Katie" this was the first mention of what KIA Lynnhaven was going to offer, leaving very little time to review the products before having to have to decide on how to protect my new KIA. Then whisked off to the Finance Manager, whom I learned was from my home state in FL and nearby city. Then came the next pitch of warranty packages not previously discussed by TJ nor the sales manager. Again, without sufficient time to review the packages, I had to make my best decisions. before the price would go up if I made a decision later because now its a used car as explained to me. Now back to TJ, we finally go the vehicle out of Prep and he took his valuable time to discuss, in and around the vehicle, all the neat aspects of the vehicle. Including how to set features up too. Each person I dealt with was knowledgeable and in the end I drove off with my new 2019 KIA Sorrento SX. More
