Daniel, thank you for your feedback. It is our understanding that you have been in contact with our General Manager, Joseph Festa, regarding your concerns. When the vehicle was brought to us in June 2022, we were able to diagnose that the root cause of the vehicle’s issues were aftermarket high-performance modifications that were installed by a third party causing the turbocharger failure. After we diagnosed the issue, the repairs were performed based on customer approval. After the vehicle was repaired, there were some lingering issues that could be expected from such a heavily modified vehicle and you were not charged for these subsequent repairs including the internally oil soaked hose from the turbo failure. As discussed with our General Manager, we are unable to provide a refund, as the repairs were approved by you prior to completion and all contracted work was completed. Thank you.

The repairs were completed, but there were missing pieces to the inter cooler and incorrect bolts used for the downpipe. I was accused by Joseph that my third party mechanic was the one who took the piece off of the intercooler and replaced the bolts to “charge me more”. This is false. He never charged me more money. It was all within his original quote. You fail to seem to realize the significance of this issue. Yes, I paid $6,000 for repairs and signed the contract. I wouldn’t have found out about these missing and incorrectly installed parts and trim pieces if I never took my vehicle to the third party mechanic. I signed the contract with an agreement all parts were installed with all pieces and all applicable parts. This is unacceptable for me spending my hard earned $6,000. It wouldn’t be different than if I had brakes replaced and finding out later that the incorrect lug nuts were used on my wheels when you put them back on my vehicle. I signed the contract with all trust and care that your mechanics would install all supporting pieces with any part replaced. Or at the bare minimum, let me know there is something missing and I need to have that missing piece replaced.

If I get no refund, I will accept my losses. But your company needs to get exposed for the false accusers and scam artists that they are. Customers are paying their hard earned money to have vehicle repairs. At the minimum, you all should honor them as customers and make sure everything is taken care of with them. Not try to falsely accuse them or others of wrong doing when there is no facts to back up those claims.

This correct response should not have had to be given on a review website. It is evidential that you do not strive to provide exceptional or even mediocre customer service. However, you MADE TIME to come write a poor response, when in fact, should have pick a phone up and dialed my phone number. Joseph Festa you dismissed me without even checking in on anything I brought to your attention. Never asked for paperwork, Never tried to come to a happy median. The whole dealership needs either extensive training or a whole new staff. And Fidelity Warranty even acknowledge your dealership mishap. Again, this is where my relationship with Hall Acura of Newport News comes to an END. No Thank You to your bad judgement and customer service.
