Reception girls were very rude. Gilbert and Ralph were awesome. 4 hrs for a 1 hr job with an appointment. Disappointed in reception girls. They laughed loudly disturbing waiting area. This was the most horrendous customer experience I have had in a long time. I generally let these things go by the wayside especially to give grace in light of the COVID-19 situation, but I was treated so had in a long time. I generally let these things go by the wayside especially to give grace in light of the COVID-19 situation, but I was treated so poorly, I will never bring my car back to this dealership/service center nor purchase another car from this dealership which is a shame because we were loyal Hyundai customers and purchased/leased three cars from Sonny (who I adore). I had Ryan as my service manager when I dropped my car off, but mysteriously, 10 days later, Ryan no longer worked at the service department. Regardless, I received a call telling me my car was ready the day after I dropped it off, which I knew was a lie. Long story short, I shouldn't have received that call, and then I proceeded to receive a call apologizing for the misinformation. 10 days later, I hadn't received an actual update about the status of my car and I had to persistently call and text just to get an update. After talking with John, and Steve, and bothering the poor receptionist to death, I was able to talk through some recommendations for my car. I was then told (after my car had been in the shop for 15 days at this point) the car would be ready the next morning. Great- I went in the next morning to pick it up, and guess what, it was not ready. I shouldn't have been surprised with the terrible service I had received for the past 15 days. After waiting for an additional 45 minutes, having a minor melt-down in the waiting room, I finally got my car and I think these people were just so glad to have me out of their hair. Honestly, I had an AMAZING experience with Patricia has my consultant last year and she is the ONLY good thing about that department. This past experience was dreadful and I do not recommend working with these incredibly unprofessional people. More
My engine pooped out, 36 k miles only. After a LOT of time Hyundai finally paid for a new one. Initially my service “advisor” Matt was impossible to get a hold of even after leaving 7 messages one day he time Hyundai finally paid for a new one. Initially my service “advisor” Matt was impossible to get a hold of even after leaving 7 messages one day he still would not call me back!! I looked at yelp reviews and found that the service dept had an issue with this. Well the horse was out of the barn at that point so I was stuck. Matt eventually left/ was relieved of his position and I will say that after Matt was “no longer with” SP Hyundai his replacement RYAN was head and shoulders on a different level. He called at least once a week and left numerous texts keeping me updated. I’m not happy that it took over a month but my motor was replaced and I’m back on the road. Since I was under warranty they paid for a rental. I cannot say I would return to this location... I would definitely look at reviews to see what they’ve been good or bad at to help me decide. It was not a stellar experience to say the least. More

With COVID19 controlling most of the businesses here in Austin, it is not unusual to see companies running short handed, I normally see 6 to 10 service agents checking in customers in the early shift (07: Austin, it is not unusual to see companies running short handed, I normally see 6 to 10 service agents checking in customers in the early shift (07:00-09:00). Thursday it was only Patricia and yet she managed to handle everyone with a positive and professional manner. I waited as my Tucson had it's 9,000 mile service and Texas inspection and it took less than an hour. Thank you Patricia. More
Shawn was the best salesman. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to buy a car right now. I was just looking because of the great rebates. I was not impressed with their service department. I felt almost bullied by them. I already left a review on their website, on Facebook, and on cars.com,. The service department here is the worst I have ever seen. We had our car in there for 52 days straight for a problem with our XM and on cars.com,. The service department here is the worst I have ever seen. We had our car in there for 52 days straight for a problem with our XM Radio cutting in and out. Not only was it there for 52 days, they hit mirror on our car, and it had to be replaced, but wait there is more. Not only was it there for that long of a period, and they hit the mirror that they replaced, but they did not do any work on the XM radio at all. Zero. They said that it worked while it was there, and they can’t replace any parts that seem to be working. Keep in mind that I did tell them the radio continued to go in and out when I first dropped it off on Sept. 16th. We go the car back on Saturday Nov. 7th. We took the car to a doctors appointment today and made it about one block or less, and the XM radio started going out again. These guys even ordered the parts (it showed us on our paperwork), but did not install them at all. NOTHING but broke my mirror. That’s it. Then today on our way back to the dealership we get a message about our engine, and that it needed to be looked at. This time we recorded the XM going in and out, and as the service advisory guy listen he said we needed to cut/copy it and send him the recording. Are you kidding me??? His name is Ryan. Ryan is new there, and told my wife that we needed to hurry and get our car back in the shop because he is about to take some time off for a new baby that is coming. I don’t need Ryan. I need my car fixed they way it should have been while it was there for 52 days. I was told by the service manager John Wayne that they were going to replace the Antenna and amplifier, and that they would detail my wife’s car as sort of an apology for the time frame my car was there and for them hitting the mirror that had to be replaced. My detail included it being vacuumed out and washed on the outside. Nothing else. I have now tried to reach the GM of this dealership about three times. Left voice messages, and he has seen my review on line, and has said he would call me. Nope, not yet he hasn’t. I was even there on his lot today looking for him. Not to be seen. These guys are so back upped it is stupid. They make you leave your car for at least two weeks before they even take a look at it. When they did mine in the beginning I had to call them to find out what the status was. They asked me if I had left them my keys to the car. I was like WHAT? You moved the car!! Just stupid. Someone needs to lose their job here. Not just for my car, but there were several other customers that were standing in line pissed about their cars being there for so long, or for issues that have been fixed three times and still not done correctly. I need the GM to call me, or I am finding the owner of this dealership and go front there. 52 days and not do a xxxx thing but break my mirror replace it and vacuum it/washed it. 52 days. Crazy!! More
