I came in with my own financing and was not constantly pressured to let Southpoint meet/match my rate. The same approach carried over to add-ons (warranty/maintenance/gap/etc). I really appreciate the way that the products were presented and allowed to speak for themselves. Upon providing information, it was simply a matter of yes/no on my end with absolutely no pushiness. I cannot say the same for previous new car buying experiences at other dealerships. This was a welcome and refreshing change from what I've come to expect. I am genuinely grateful to Southpoint Hyundai for the transparency and respect every step of the way. Along with just doing the job, Derrick has a genuine passion and deep knowledge for the products he is selling. Derrick's enthusiasm for his craft and for Hyundai/Genesis was the best part of the experience as there is always the inevitable wait times during the car buying process and the informed conversation filled that time nicely. Congrats to Southpoint for hiring this guy. He is not phoning it in. He does an awesome job of evangelizing the brand and lets it sell itself. Also want to thank Tim for welcoming us upon arrival and getting us into the test drive and to Sheldon for getting us in and out of financing. It was a pleasure dealing with all of you. I’m a Gen Z, so I knew exactly what I wanted for my new Tucson. At a different dealer, the sales consultant tried to coerce me into buying a vehicle that did not match everything I wanted, citing the lack Tucson. I was not interested in being pressured or lied to! Then I spoke with Pouya Yahyavi at South Point. What a difference! Not only did he find the exact vehicle I wanted, but he also built a relationship with me and gave me confidence that he was working in my best interests. He was extremely authentic and more than delivered on his trustworthiness and genuine wish to serve me. I pre-purchased the vehicle by phone, and when I arrived at the dealer, my new Tucson with every feature I had wanted was waiting for me. Pouya had taken care of everything in advance, and all I had to do was sit down with finance. He stayed in touch with me after the purchase, ensuring that I was still satisfied with my new vehicle. Overall, my experience in buying a new vehicle was outstanding, thanks to Pouya. He never pressured me and went out of his way to ensure my comfort. I have recommended Pouya already to all my friends and family and now feel like I’m now part of the South Point family! More
