I bought my car last year it has about 16,550 miles on it. I had one oil change previously at Southpoint Hyundai service center which I will say was a great experience. I scheduled a service appointment for oil change in my 16,000 mile tuneup. It took a very long time for me to get the appointment so my oil change was about 700 miles past due. I dropped my car off in the morning. I talked to the gentleman everything was great. Later that day he called me told me that my car needs about $1,000 worth of work new air filters at AC clean out and a fuel line clean out. I told him I wasn’t able to do that right now but could I schedule it at a later date after pay day the gentleman said sure, not a problem. That day is great that works for us. Went to go and pick up my car later on that day. The person on the counter told me no, I had to have an appointment for the extra work. I asked them if the service advisor made one and they stated no. I asked to speak to a manger they told me they left for the day. I was beyond frustrated at that point. I went to my car and my car still says that I need maintenance. I also have low tire pressure. took it to a tire shop to fill up my tire, and they say I have a nail in it, but Hyundai said that they did a full 25 point inspection. I have low windshield wiper fluid, and my antifreeze is below the minimal line. They said they topped off all of my fluids and did a 25 point inspection. I personally don’t believe they actually even did a oil change because then why does my car still say I need maintenance on it. They lied!!! I tried to call and talk to a manager two times. No one will call me back. I have waited until Monday afternoon and no one has called me. Last time I went there, I had an email asking about my service. I got a phone call from the manager making sure I had perfect service. I’ve been waiting for my email regarding my service it hasn’t come. And to top it off last time I had service done. They told me if I did a five star google review they would give me a full tank of gas. When I dropped off my car they said yes not a problem you can redeem that today. Did I get it? Absolutely not. So that means all of the five star, google reviews are a lie. More
My daughter bought a 2009 Hyundai Elantra at South Point Hyundai in Austin for $9000.00+ TTL. last summer. We took it to a shop in Waco to have some work done last week. When they put the car on the rack, they discovered that the car had obviously been in a flood somewhere.....everything was extremely corroded! When I called the dealership and spoke with Jeff Allen, the pre-owned Director, and sent him numerous pictures of all of the corrosion..... He was no help at all...he told us that he would buy the car back for $3500.00, which is a joke! Were told it went thru an inspection before it was sold. I can not believe they would sell a car to anyone, NEVER SAYING ANYTHING ABOUT EXTREME FLOOD CORROSION AND DAMAGE. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND BUYING ANYTHING AT THIS DEALERSHIP...THEY ARE CROOKS! THE BBB will be aware of this as well. Save your money and go to a reputable Dealership. More

I’m a returning customer of South point Hyundai & Came to window shop/compare prices and of course ended up leaving with a vehicle I absolutely loved. It had all the features I was looking for on upgrading f window shop/compare prices and of course ended up leaving with a vehicle I absolutely loved. It had all the features I was looking for on upgrading from a sedan to a SUV. Dustin is very personable & made the entire signing process a breeze. He came to assist as soon as we entered the lot. Dustin was my salesmen when I came to Hyundai only to window shop, but ended up purchasing same day! The entire process was a smooth and easy transition as I was looking for a 2nd vehicle for myself. We had an urgent need to get a car as my girlfriend had to turn hers in. Working with Sheldon was a delight. We were interested in the Tucson, test drove it and decided that was the car for us. I was shocked that my car was not washed and the interior vacuumed when I picked it up after having my one year service!! Lexus always washed and vacuumed the interior of my Lexus when it was serviced. This vacuumed when I picked it up after having my one year service!!
