The staff at Kendall Kia was extremely friendly and helpful. They showed me the Soul, which I had not even thought about buying, and discovered that it was the perfect car for my lifestyle. Rick and Algenelerro basically approved me without being fully approved. They let me drive the car for a week and told me that some changes were made in the contract. So I go to the dealership and I'm abou fully approved. They let me drive the car for a week and told me that some changes were made in the contract. So I go to the dealership and I'm about to sign the new contract when they noticed that the deal they made me was good for me but bad for them. The store manager Rod just kept trying to get me to put a bigger deposit down... mind you when Algenelerro first called me to set up an appointment I told him my situation and he said they would gladly help me, that they had "all kinds of programs" to help their customers. This dealer ship is full of liars and people that do not know what they are doing. How can they let someone drive a car without being fully approved? Rick, the finance manager did not even apologize for the HUGE mistake he made nor did he acknowledge that what happened in my situation was wrong and clearly a mistake on his part. Now thanks to them I'm car-less but I know I will find a better dealership that will not try to take advantage of me. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. You tell them your budget and they try to push you into the corner. More

Stay away from this bunch of idiots! Went to see a Sportage and they don't even want to open the car to let me see the interior. After 15 minutes of hearing the salesperson explaining why I should NOT choose the car I was interested in, I requested to unlock the car for the 3rd. time. The salesperson told me to wait outside and he was going to get the keys. After another 10 min. Standing in the parking lot this moron came without the keys and with a "messages" from the manager wanting to talk to me first. At that point was more than obvious that their business is not selling cars.... I left the dealership and went to Braman Kia. More
I only went for an oil change and for the services required after reaching 18,000 miles on the car. I was told that those services included changing my air filter and rotating my tires. First thing is that this dealership does not advice you that you as a customer that you can only charge on a credit card $2000 for a downpayment. It seems the owner is so cheap that he doesn't want to pa that you as a customer that you can only charge on a credit card $2000 for a downpayment. It seems the owner is so cheap that he doesn't want to pay the extra fees beyond $2000, even though you are spending thousands of dollar to buy a car. What is a customer to do if you don't have the cash on hand if you want to give a down payment of $2000+??????? And god forbid that you don't have your checkbook with you to give the difference of the downpayment. They will TRY and I say TRY to have you sign two (2)contracts. One for the amount of $2000 charge and the other contract for the total down payment you wish to give them. So bottom line is, they DO NOT TRUST YOU you will give them the balance of the deposit the following day in a form of check or cash; however, YOU ARE supposed to TRUST them. I do believe there is something wrong with this picture. As to recommending Kendall Kia or it's sister dealership Cheverolet/Cadillac in Homestead.....ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!!! More
I bought a second Kia from them used. What a nightmare. After dealing with them for hours, they never told me the used car price because of my trade in. They will keep you there until your tired and give in. I've done this before but never this bad. Later, they didn't have a second key for me and wanted me to pay for it. Lied about down payment and asked for more, but I did not agree. The service department is even worse!!! They make you wait for long periods of time when your car is already done. I went out looking for my car which was done and had to tell the service person. Taking my Sorento for the second time, for the same problem. They automatically make appointments for you when you don't ask or want one. Then they call you to remind you of the appt. and your like what appt. I don't have one. They seem like they don't want to sell any cars or service any!! BAD!!! More
I am writing to complain about my experience at Kendall Kia this past Saturday, June 2, 2012. My husband and I went down there with our 3 year old son to see the Kia Sorento. I had test driven all of the Kia this past Saturday, June 2, 2012. My husband and I went down there with our 3 year old son to see the Kia Sorento. I had test driven all of the competitor cars I was considering and the Sorento was the last one I wanted to see. The salesman immediately started talking to my husband, but my husband told him it would be my car, so he had to deal with me. I had already done my research, so I knew a lot about the car already, but I had a few more questions so I asked them. After that I asked if they had one I could take for a test drive. The salesperson hesitated and then said "Well, I'll need to get your information." I assumed he meant my license, so I gave him my license. He asked me to wait at his desk and then left to make a copy of it. He came back a few minutes later and then said he needed to fill out my personal info in their system. SO I spent a few more minutes giving him that info. Then he said he was going to get a key. He left and came back about 10 minutes later, then sat back down and asked when I would be ready to buy the car. I told him that I would be buying soon, but likely not that day because I had just started looking and that I was under a time crunch (now that he had made me wait 20 minutes to drive the car). He said Ok and that he was going to get a tag for the car to drive. After a few more minutes, he brought over his sales manager who sat down at the desk and asked me when I would be ready to buy. I told him the same thing, soon but not today. Then he asked me when would I have time to come back to the dealership to talk about buying and do the test drive then. He said they didn't have time to let me do a test drive today unless I wanted to buy today and then gave me the list of hours this week when they would be available. Meanwhile there were several salesmen standing around the central sales desk. My husband I left and immediately went to Braman Kia and were treated great. Because of that, we juggled our schedule and ended up making the time to be there for nearly 5 hours to make a lease deal with Braman. Their dealership was clean and nice; the salesman (Allan Perez) was knowledgeable, friendly and low pressure. The lease experience at Braman was a pleasure. Kendall was awful. On top of the horrible sales experience, Kendall Kia's parking lot was overgrown and battered looking. Their showroom was dirty and outdated (all POS material had 2011 cars on them). I wouldn't recommend Kendall Kia to anyone. It was the worst experience I've ever had trying to buy or lease a car. More
