They will keep you there until your tired and give in. I've done this before but never this bad. Later, they didn't have a second key for me and wanted me to pay for it. Lied about down payment and asked for more, but I did not agree. The service department is even worse!!! They make you wait for long periods of time when your car is already done. I went out looking for my car which was done and had to tell the service person. Taking my Sorento for the second time, for the same problem. They automatically make appointments for you when you don't ask or want one. Then they call you to remind you of the appt. and your like what appt. I don't have one. They seem like they don't want to sell any cars or service any!! BAD!!! More
I am writing to complain about my experience at Kendall Kia this past Saturday, June 2, 2012. My husband and I went down there with our 3 year old son to see the Kia Sorento. I had test driven all of the Kia this past Saturday, June 2, 2012. My husband and I went down there with our 3 year old son to see the Kia Sorento. I had test driven all of the competitor cars I was considering and the Sorento was the last one I wanted to see. The salesman immediately started talking to my husband, but my husband told him it would be my car, so he had to deal with me. I had already done my research, so I knew a lot about the car already, but I had a few more questions so I asked them. After that I asked if they had one I could take for a test drive. The salesperson hesitated and then said "Well, I'll need to get your information." I assumed he meant my license, so I gave him my license. He asked me to wait at his desk and then left to make a copy of it. He came back a few minutes later and then said he needed to fill out my personal info in their system. SO I spent a few more minutes giving him that info. Then he said he was going to get a key. He left and came back about 10 minutes later, then sat back down and asked when I would be ready to buy the car. I told him that I would be buying soon, but likely not that day because I had just started looking and that I was under a time crunch (now that he had made me wait 20 minutes to drive the car). He said Ok and that he was going to get a tag for the car to drive. After a few more minutes, he brought over his sales manager who sat down at the desk and asked me when I would be ready to buy. I told him the same thing, soon but not today. Then he asked me when would I have time to come back to the dealership to talk about buying and do the test drive then. He said they didn't have time to let me do a test drive today unless I wanted to buy today and then gave me the list of hours this week when they would be available. Meanwhile there were several salesmen standing around the central sales desk. My husband I left and immediately went to Braman Kia and were treated great. Because of that, we juggled our schedule and ended up making the time to be there for nearly 5 hours to make a lease deal with Braman. Their dealership was clean and nice; the salesman (Allan Perez) was knowledgeable, friendly and low pressure. The lease experience at Braman was a pleasure. Kendall was awful. On top of the horrible sales experience, Kendall Kia's parking lot was overgrown and battered looking. Their showroom was dirty and outdated (all POS material had 2011 cars on them). I wouldn't recommend Kendall Kia to anyone. It was the worst experience I've ever had trying to buy or lease a car. More

RUDE, THEY DON'T CARE. I went their yesterday to to test drive the Kia Sorrento 2012 has I was ready to buy, $12,000 to put down. The salesman was rude, showed really no interested all he said well incentiv drive the Kia Sorrento 2012 has I was ready to buy, $12,000 to put down. The salesman was rude, showed really no interested all he said well incentives are depending if you qualify. Start discussing the price before even showing me the inside of the car, letting me test drive, "wait what is that called" sell your product...get the customer to LOVE the product so the selling is a success. At the end of the day...the dealer looses out... cause get what I had $12,000 to put down and just finance the rest.. So guess what went to another dealer that did want my business and made me feel like a valuable customer. Let's see how long Kendall Kia will be in business for. And guess what I can tell you more about the Sorrento 2012 that the salesman didn't even tell me. Wow he should have started by saying this and showing me the car, before is bad attitude and telling me may if I can qualify for incentives!!!! The 2012 Kia Sorento ranks 8 out of 23 Affordable Midsize SUVs. * Lots of standard features * Excellent brake performance * Two powerful optional engines * Great warranty coverage More

On August the 25th David called me once again and told me that I was Finally approved by Capital One but they wanted $2600 down. He had told me I was 100 %approved. Then around 3:00 pm David Allen called me asking for copies of my pay stubs to send to Capital One. David Allen called me once again at 4:00 pm and told me that I was approved for the car and told me to come in to the dealer and pick out the car that I wanted. The next evening which was August 26th I went back to the dealer at 5:30 pm to sign all the paper work when we got there Steve from finance was off so we ended up talking to Joe Debesa and as we were filling out all the paper work, I had asked him personally Several times are you sure I am finally approved and he said yes that the worst thing is that I would have to pay a high interest of 16.78 %. I signed the sales contract & took my new car home. I got a call from Joe Debesa on August 31st telling me that I was not approved and that I needed a co-signer to get approved to have more income, not to worry about the persons credit , just the more income , I told him my brother could do that and he told me No cause we didn't live in the same house. All this after taking delivery of the car and have asked several time the day that I signed the contract about if I was finally approved and he saying the worse will be I will pay a high interest of 16.78 %, So I continue to contact people to see and finding solutions. I called Joe Debesa and he will keep making excuses and getting more rude and aggressive with me over the phone like if he was trying for me to give up on the car, I started noticing the behavior the he was not interested in me keeping the car, just after I will get the thing he will ask for it, he will said no is not enough. He even told me to fake pay stubs for a part time job but I refuse to have to do that.. I then try to contact David Allen but he was also rude and aggressive over the phone, all this while I was at my job, I started crying, I had heart palpitations, all my coworkers telling to calm down, for days I put my work at risk because the way I was treated. Then he kept calling me and harassing me for things I told him I didn't have or I couldn't get. Then I get the call Joe Debesa telling me that I have to return the car, I immediately I comply took the car back September 1st I returned the car at 1:30 pm hoping to get my down payment of $2600 at the same time that I return the vehicle, they inspected the car and gave a receipt that the car was in excellent return condition, but there was no check Joe Debesa told me that the check request would be sent out at 3:00 pm that I would have the check after 11 am the next day, at this point Joe was talking to me with an attitude and very disrespectful and he didn't not apologize for anything. I called Joe Debesa at 12:00 pm the next day to ask for my check and he told me that it was not ready that it went out on the morning run to the accounting dept. I had told him that he had told me that the check would be ready after 11:00 am and he got loud with me and was really rude and yelling at me so I hung up on him. At 5:30pm I went to the dealer and I called the police officer to have a police meet me there because of the way he was behaving over the phone aggressive and rude when the police officer got there I explained everything that Kendall KIA dealership had put me through when we walked in to the dealer everything changed they had the check for $2600.00. After 4 years the key fob (door locking mechanism) stopped working. We were told that it was not under warranty and reprogramming it would cost about $95. So much for 10 year/100k mi waranty. I was referred to KENDALL KIA and asked to speak to Joe Debesa by my attorney. Unfortunately, I recently had to file bankruptcy due to financial reasons. I needed to purchase a vehicle urgently. Joe worked Debesa by my attorney. Unfortunately, I recently had to file bankruptcy due to financial reasons. I needed to purchase a vehicle urgently. Joe worked with me and met my family's needs. Domingo and Alain Rodriguez, sales managers went above and beyond to help me as well. Thanks to these folks, I am driving my new KIA Sorento and enjoying my car. Good work guys! Keep it up and thank you for being there for my family.... More
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE FRAUDS!!! I Set out to purchase DO NOT BUY FROM THESE FRAUDS!!! I Set out to purchase a Kia Soul!, Kendall Kia (Southern Automotive Group Inc)was the first dealership I visited. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE FRAUDS!!! I Set out to purchase a Kia Soul!, Kendall Kia (Southern Automotive Group Inc)was the first dealership I visited. They greeted me and were very nice throughout the negotiations and after 5 hours they finally agreed to a price. They also claimed to be home of the $5000, low-price guarantee. This was a great sales pitch (Selling point for me) since they would only offer me the price for that day. The sales persons explaind it as "If you find a lower price within 5 days of your purchase, we give you back $5000". Here's the kicker, NO ONE could give me any paperwork on this guarantee; they said "there is no fine print, that's just our guarantee." When I visited the finance manager, the price was about $3000 over what they previously agreed to; they then lowered my intrest rate by .75% to try to compensate. I agreed anyway since I could count on the guarantee. At the time of sale, there was a small scratch on the door which Kendall Kia said they would fix at no charge, but I would have to come back in 2 days. When I got home I found that they failed to include the window addendum that showed $1695 added to the MSRP for a polyshield paint treatment (the dealer stated that this is applied to each vehicle before they are placed on the lot). When I went in to get the scratch fixed, they kept me there for 3 hours only to find that the paint guy was unable to fix the scratch! During my wait, I talked to Domingo regarding the missing paperwork, the conversation went like this: ME: Hey Domingo, I think you guys forgot to include the addendum for the polyshield. MANAGER: You didn't pay for the PolyShield ME: I thought it was applied to EVERY vehicle? MANAGER: It's on your car, but you didn't pay for it. I don't know what proof you want; Do you want me to show you the bottle? ME: No, I want the paperwork that was in the window when I purchased the vehicle. MANAGER: OK, I will mail it to you. Then on the third day, I figured I would check on their low-price guarantee. For $5000...who wouldn't? As it turns out I was able to find a lower price! I called the Salesman and told him I found a lower price and wanted to claim the guarantee. He asked "Do you have it on a Buyers Order...in writing?" I said yes, and he told me that I "would have to talk to a manager and they are all busy right now...you will have to call back." The next day I send out emails to the management and they eventually reply with a recently typed email that says the guarantee is VOID after Purchase. Not too long after I express that they have failed to give paperwork, fix a scratch and now adding fraud to the table; I get a call from Joe Debesa stating that I need to give another proof of residence. In observation of the trends they were setting, I agreed that I would give them what they were requesting as soon as they fix the scratch and provide paperwork on the vehicle. Numerous conversations with this clown, Joe Debesa, revealed his lack of prfessionalism and immaturity. After going days with no response from Kendall Kia, I bring the vehicle to the dealership a total of 3 additional times with no resolution to the problem. I even told them to keep the car until they could fix it, but they refused (for insurance reasons)[yeah right, since when can a car dealer not keep a car overnight for repairs?]. Joe Debesa calls me out of the blue a few days later and says that if I do not provide the proof of residence right now, then I need to return the car. I said that without them repairing the scratch and providing proper paperwork with my new vehicle, then he could take the car back. He specifically stated that he is going to exercise his right of recission, and yet they charged me as though I was the one initiating the return. I'm a pretty calm person, but this Joe Debesa is an extremely rude, and quite ignorant individual. I would imagine that his ego inflated shortly after they put the manager tag on his desk. In fact, after my purchase was completed, no one bothers to return emails, or phone calls. Their customer Service is garbage! As for the company itself, don't expect ANYTHING after your sale; service stops when you drive off the lot, and isn't great when you're on the lot. As for me, I gladly returned the vehicle to themas they requested, and lost about $575 total. I will be purchasing the SAME VEHICLE from a different dealer for approx $2000 LESS. I would have kept the car, but integrity means a lot these days and Kendall Kia (Southern Automotive Group Inc.) has NONE! I'm happy to suffer a small loss rather than knowing I supported a fraudulent, rude, BS business. Please, save yourself some time and shop elsewhere. More

Found and purchase The Good: Tay was very helpful, friendly, courteous and willing to go the extra mile. Chris was helpful but some what reluctant. Found and purchased a car that fit my son's requirements. The Bad: This car had just over 80,000 miles on it and knowing that routine maintenance requires that the timing belt be replaced at 60,000 miles, I asked the Service Manager Octavio if he would check the Kia service records for me to see if the timing belt had ever been replaced at a Kia dealer. He said he couldn't enter the VIN to access any Kia service records from any other Kia dealer because they are not interlinked. This is just not true. All the dealers are linked for service and warranty purposes. I certainly wouldn't expect Kia to have records of any service or repairs made at facilities other than their own, but how could a Kia dealer other than the original selling dealer perform any out of town warranty repairs without having access to records of the in service date, previous dealer service, warranty repairs and mileage logged at the time of such services performed? Please!!! No after sales OEM service will be performed at this location for me in the future. The Ugly: This vehicle was not being financed so I decided to put a 500 dollar deposit down and come back the following Saturday with a cashiers check for the balance in full and pick up the car and 2 extra keys. A simple transaction I thought, until it came time to sign some paperwork. Some management folks (I don't recall their names) come with the paperwork and say sign here, here, here and initial this etc. I'm reading and signing this document and one of the lines for me to sign states "Customer has read and understands paragraph H." Well I hadn't read and therefore could not have possibly understood paragraph H. So I turned the form over and began to read paragraph H which was dealing with arbitration and dispute resolution. One of the management guys says "It's a standard form, more to protect you than us." and "just sign it where you see the Xs." At this point I said "Well...this may be a standard form for you, but I don't do this everyday and I think that I should be allowed to read any or all of this before I sign anything if I so choose." With that said, they let me continue to go over the document. Then all of a sudden the boss storms over from across the floor and states with a raised voice that he doesn't like my attitude. Shocked, I look him in the eye and say "You don't like MY attitude?" He says "That's right!" Then I said to him "So what's this?... Your document states that by signing here that I am saying that I have read and understand paragraph H. Do you not think that I should be allowed to read and understand paragraph H as stated?" I was ready to walk away. With that said he leaves and stands outside of the front door until my son and I leave. Conclusion: If I hadn't already given them the deposit, I probably would have left right then and there and never come back. However, I bit my tongue and completed the deal because I didn't think that it would be fair to my son who needed the car, or even to Tay, the salesman that had put in so much effort and was so helpful all along. I asked one of the employees for the boss's name and they said his name is Domingo. I find it hard to believe that someone so rude would be in charge of any sales team. But what do I know? I remember the days when the customer was always right. I remember when you pulled in to get gas that they filled it up for you, checked your oil, cleaned your windshield AND gave you a receipt, all for the price of the gas. I will also remember that this dealership will never again be considered if anyone in my family decides to buy another new or used Kia. We shall go elsewhere. Oh...and we're still waiting on the 2 extra keys that were part of the agreement. It seems that every time we call, we sit on terminal hold or they tell us that they will call back and never do. Funny, the recorded message that you hear over and over while sitting on hold boasts of their efforts for customer satisfaction! More
I think if nothing is stated, nothing will be done to correct the issue. With that said, please consider this review my personal experience at Kia. The good : I came to this location knowing my cre correct the issue. With that said, please consider this review my personal experience at Kia. The good : I came to this location knowing my credit score and with cash in my pocket ready to buy. Spoke with a representative beforehand who told me they did indeed have the car I was looking for in stock, and to come by to take a look. Upon arrival, we sat down, spoke a bit about the vehicle (they had 1 in stock) and he showed me the model and some of its features. Unfortunately this is when it takes a turn for the worse... The bad : Either made it seem like he was not knowledgeable about the vehicle he was selling me, or I (who do NOT sell cars for a living) happened to know more in my half hour of research of the vehicle than he did. Even with a printout of what I was looking for, I was told the combination of options available from the web printout I had was not available for the model I was looking for. Regardless, I offered my credit score and requested they not run my personal info (after repeated requests for my Social) just for an estimated payment...which only prompted them to quote me out of the ballpark. Oh, and because they felt I had a 'comparable' current vehicle to the one they were trying to sell me, they said theyd 'discount' the payments to another (ridiculous) amount. to this day I am baffled at how they came up with that. Sadly, I left here completely discouraged and never considered the vehicle again. The price as well as the willingness to work with clients placed them on the "Do Not Call" list for my consideration of a future vehicle. If I ever end up considering a Kia again, I will most certainly not visit this location. Want a quality Korean car with the service to match? Check Hyundai. 3 different dealers : 3 great experiences! After less than a week from my Kia visit, I ended up leasing a 2011 Sonata that had everything I looked for in the comparable Optima (and MORE) for an amazing price. Regardless if the price would have been a bit more, I would have opted for it due to the great service they gave myself and my girlfriend from the moment we walked in to the moment we drove out in our new car. Sorry Kia, you missed out on a client who was ready to deal on your best model Optima! More
