A coincidence review?? This dealer damaged my rear axle *BEWARE!* SOUTH COUNTY LEXUS, MISSION VIEJO CA. Have I been taken advantage of because I am a women? I called South County LEXUS in Mission Viejo, CA *BEWARE!* SOUTH COUNTY LEXUS, MISSION VIEJO CA. Have I been taken advantage of because I am a women? I called South County LEXUS in Mission Viejo, CA to schedule an OIL CHANGE and to get a Certificate of SMOG inspection on Jan 26, 2015. I received a call from the Service Consultant stating that I needed to have my rear breaks repaired, new pads and the rotters sanded. I picked up my car on Jan 29th and it wasn't the same. There was banging sound coming from the rear passenger tire. I went back to South County Lexus on Feb 8, Feb 11th, Feb 16th, Feb 19th, Sat, Feb 20th, and met with the Mechanic on Feb 22. First I was told that the parking break was adjusted too tight then I was told there was a loose nut attached to the axle. It was never properly tighten on Jan 26th. On Feb 25th I was told that the axle had to be replaced and I was charged an additional $750.00 after paying over $900.00 from the first service on Jan 26th. I was also told my the first Service Consultant that this was a coincidence repair. What?? Yep, sure is a coincidence that South County Lexus worked on my breaks, had to remove my tire, DID NOT tighten the nut to the axle and now I need a new axle. DO NOT GO THERE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A WOMEN. More
