Being able to shop the available cars online helped me locate the RX 450h I was looking for and to choose to visit South County Lexus before any of the other dealerships I was considering. The "no haggle" pricing obviously gave SCL a competitive leg-up when I was comparing the prices of similar models at other Lexus dealerships. The salesman I dealt with, Parker Lewis, was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He made it a very easy and enjoyable buying experience. Parker was also able to put my mind at ease that the "no haggle" price that I paid was going to be comparable to what I could have negotiated at a competing dealer. I'm still a bit skeptical about that, but I felt that the price I paid for the car was fair, especially since the car was in such good condition after three years. The only negative about my buying experience was the extremely long wait I endured (at least an hour) to see Ms. Rami in finance. I felt bad that Parker continually had to apologize to me for the lengthy delay. Could it be that only one person was working in finance on a busy Saturday afternoon over Memorial Day Weekend? When I finally was passed off to Ms. Rami, things went very quickly because I was paying cash. She was very pleasant and efficient, but I wish I could have been handed off to her earlier. All in all, however, it was great doing business with South County Lexus. More

I must admit it still took quite a while before I drove away with my car but did not feel too bad. Good job Ted. The showroom is roomy and has most of amenities you deserve. I only had a couple of coffee but can visualize myself staying there waiting for an oil change. I live closer to Tustin Lexus but probably will come back here. Now you can tell how I liked there. South Coast, OK I'm an hour and a half from dealership and they had colors I wanted and matched a deal from another dealership. Per my request they changed the upgraded wheels back to stock wheels. That part was good. Transaction took 2 hrs, 3 hrs by the time I was off the lot. Finance was pleasant and efficient. Anita. The guy who showed me the car was very thorough and knowledgable. I think is was Ryan. We discovered the tires pressure was all wrong. Supposed to be 33. Was 41, 39 front and rear 36 and 39. Makes you wonder if anything was done correctly to this brand new car. If they can't even get the tire pressure right... I give low marks to sales staff. I've been around many Lexus dealships in the last few months. Jason never returned my email or phone call about the car. I resorted to Franco because I'd been handed off to him at a previous test drive and had his phone number. He gave me the deal I wanted. However, I have comments. He refused to send me the deal via email in advance, saying no, "we are going to do your deal". He complained about having to walk around the lot looking for a new car with the stock wheels. He was very pushy about making a decision on the wheels. He refused to have the new car delivered to me(many dealerships have offered). Since I was dropping off a rental car, he would not even commit to having someone available to pick me up. When I arrived at the dealership and went into the sale office, before we started any paperwork, he demanded I give him 10 rating on everything. "If you aren't going to give me 10s, then I don't want to sell you the car". Knowing I jumped through hoops to get down there, I feel I was being held hostage by his demands. I drove an hour and a half, gave up a rental car, got myself to the dealership on foot. To be treated this way, when you are are spending a lot of money, is wrong. I'd say this was the least pleasant dealership experience I've had with Lexus sales. Longo, Oxnard are much nicer and get high marks from me. Glendale was great. South Coast, not so good. More

I had to follow up with a prior issue and he brought back the previous mechanic (Mike) to have a ride with me in the car to listen/pinpoint the intermittent noise. They replaced parts to see if it resolved the issue and it was part of the standard warranty. More
