Nobody followed up properly after the purchase. Everybody else we talked to were great. Since there were no mats in the car, I asked for all weather mats and asked how much extra that would be, and the salesperson came out with a set of mats he tossed in the back and said they were on the house, as if he somehow gave me some kind of extra value. Turns out those mats were already included. Nobody really followed up with me after the car was delivered. I had questions that I was too flustered and hungry to remember at the time. I wanted a custom plate and I wanted to know the maintenance schedule and where/how to service the vehicle and also what the engine break-in procedure was... Overall, not a great experience. More

Salesman great, managers not so great I went to South Charlotte Hyundai to turn in my existing lease or possibly purchase it. I was greeted at the door as I arrived (by manager Jean) whic I went to South Charlotte Hyundai to turn in my existing lease or possibly purchase it. I was greeted at the door as I arrived (by manager Jean) which was nice and I was directed to Mr. Antonio Grant. Antonio Grant was absolutely GREAT! He was patient and knowledgeable with my 1 million questions, gave me all my options and located the exact vehicle that I wanted, color and features. All in all I ended up returning my existing lease, leasing the vehicle that I truly wanted and purchasing a second vehicle at a great price. The one disturbing issue that I had is that each transaction was processed separately. Meaning that added another 2 to 3 hours to my visit. When I voiced my concern of having to wait even longer then what I felt was necessary after spending 6 hours and thousands of dollars on a purchase, manager Jean (whom deliberately wouldn't give me his last name) and general manager Anthony Barreiro gave me the impression that they could care less. I myself am part of management of customer service and would have and has in the past handled such situations in a totally different manner. Granted even if a customer spends $1 or $1,000 each customer should get the same quality service. But neither of them tried to satisfy me as a customer or give me the service that I felt that I wanted and deserved. I will not let the interaction with the upper management damper the overall experience to where I would go to the extreme of not utilizing their dealership or to deter anyone from the other sales people who were very kind and attempted to accommodate me more appropriately than their bosses. Thumbs up to the sales staff, thumbs down to upper management. More
