South Bay Hyundai - Service Center

My main concern here was the lack of communication and wrong information being given. I took in my car from a failure that had happened on their end after recalls being repaired. With an estimate of a wee wrong information being given. I took in my car from a failure that had happened on their end after recalls being repaired. With an estimate of a week or less to be in shop. It took about a month and three weeks to be returned to me. This was with no calls being given to me with no updates. I was the one calling and calling for updates. No answers. Got hung up on. Left voicemails and nothing. Not only that but no car lender or rental was offered to me. And if I had gotten a lender it was said that I’d pay out of pocket. Later on a case manager I reached out to said I could be reimbursed. Still, why am I paying out of my pocket for the reason given that my car was still in process because they were low on staff? No accurate info was ever given by this dealer location. One thing I got out of their side was that I was lucky enough to not have to pay out of pocket since they were lenient on the fact that it was out of warranty. Grateful for my car being fixed but disappointed and frustrated at the experience through it all. My personal life was affected because of this. More

Came in for the Kona EV system coolant recall and was told they did the necessary work. However, the very next day the “refill inverter coolant” warning light came back on again.
