This was my third visit to this location to have my car serviced. Despite having an appointment at 1, my car was not taken to begin servicing until 2:20. In addition, there was no indication on the website serviced. Despite having an appointment at 1, my car was not taken to begin servicing until 2:20. In addition, there was no indication on the website that they were undergoing significant construction. This severely impacted the waiting experience. I was expecting a clean waiting room with space to sit and beverages that are typically available. Instead, there were benches under pop-up tents and a sad, dark room with an industrial coffee machine, water bottles on the table, and some bags of cookies on a table. By the time my car was finished, the car wash across the street was no longer taking customers, so I was unable to get my car washed and detailed. On the car wash note - I had to ask about the voucher, which made me feel like they would have just not provided it otherwise. I would have 100% selected a different dealership had I known the wait, waiting room, and overall experience would have been like this. More

He gave me several options for how to keep costs down, and he personally walked me over to Deon in the sales department to discuss options for buying in the future, so that I could have as much info as possible in order to make my final decision about the repairs. Jack took over my case when I came back the next week and was super friendly and helpful as well. Deon was amazing in finding some options that would fit my needs and I look forward to working with him in the future when I'm financially ready to buy! More
After my latest service appointment, where they performed an oil change and software updates, I immediately started having transmission problems with my 2022 Santa Cruz Limited. Before this service, we had 2 an oil change and software updates, I immediately started having transmission problems with my 2022 Santa Cruz Limited. Before this service, we had 23,000 problem free miles on this Santa Cruz. As soon as the check engine light came on, I brought it back to South Bay Hyundai where I was told that I wasn’t able to receive service at this location and that I was on my own to arrange transportation to try and get my Santa Cruz to another Hyundai location. The service rep didn’t seem to care much about the issues I was having and essentially turned me away with my car having transmission issues under warranty. I ended up working with Win Hyundai in Carson to set up an appointment for next week. Until then, the car is essentially inoperable. I have never received poor service like this from the Toyota dealerships I have purchased from or worked with in the past. We took a chance on Hyundai with the Santa Cruz, and unless things change drastically, it will be the last Hyundai we purchase. More
I've been coming to South Bay Hyundai since we bought our car in 2012. The service department is always so nice and offers very competitive pricing. I'm a big believer in going independant mechanic after a car's warranty is over, but SBH has created such a good experience with good pricing that I keep coming back. Calvin and Jack have been absolutely stellar through the years and I recently had the pleasure of working with Andy who was super nice, didn't upsell me, and got my car finished fast. I got a free wash. Even though my car needed tires and brakes he didn't push for me to do it. He simply gave me the quote and all the info I need so I can make an informed decision. I appreciate that. I'll keep coming to SBH as long as I have a Hyundai. Thanks! More
Jack is always so helpful when I stop by and definitely makes the trip from Glendale worth it. I'd rather drive 30 miles to SB than deal with the new team at the local dealer and I am thankful for it - so makes the trip from Glendale worth it. Everything went smoothly. Told service man what was needed. My tires needed air. He suggested the tires all be rotated along with check up.
