Hello all, While I usually avoid reviews and surverys unless I had an unpleasent experience. I figured after today's experience in having my car inspected and a recall addresed Smithtown VW was worthy of unless I had an unpleasent experience. First and foremost, from the time I called to schedule my inspection until i brought my Atlas in, I had an excellent experience. When calling the service department my call was anwered immediatly. I made an appointment and one day prior to my appointment I recieved a confirmation call. Sadly, because of my hectic work schedule I had to cancel and reschedule. The woman who initally made my initial appointment was courteous, pleasent and acommdated me with a new appointment commensurate with my work schedule without any conflict. When I brought my Atlas in at 830AM, I was immediatly greeted at the door by a service tech who was very polite and held the door for me and guided me to the service advisor, Noah, While I had not been in for service on over 6 months, Noah immediatly remembered me, and remembered that when I was there for my previous visit, I had just had a major surgery, he also remembered that I was visually impaired. Not only did he take the time to ask me how my recovery went, he also prepared my documents in accordance with my visual impairment that spared me the embarrasment of having to ask for help. After months he remebered, you cannot get more personalized service than that. After signing my documents, Noah took the time to explain the recall process in full detail and I left knowing my car was in good hands. I went home and within two hours I got a call that my car was ready. I was offered transportation, I declined and had my wife drive me. When I got there I spoke to Noah, he had my documents pre-prepared and while signing the documents, Noah took the time to discuss some upgrade options for me in regard to my sound system and also reminded me of my upcoming service needs. I did not have the time, but if I did I would have had the services completed that day. With Noah's help I have my reminders in my phone's calenday and I will be returning in a timely manner. Overall, if there were six stars I would add an extra star. I cannot tell you how much simple things like having my documents ready with my visual impairment in mind means to me. Having a disabilty can be embarrassing when having to ask for something simple like signing a credit card reciept. Noah and the Smithtown staff alleviated me of any embarrassment, I will not use another shop ever! Even if a dealer oil change is more expensive, I would rather spend extra and get treated well than save money and get treated like just another customer. GREAT JOB and Thank you so much for treating me with empathy, compassion and respect!!!! You have a customer for life. More
Belly Pan: Large belly pan damage - The last service done at your dealer ship on 08/11/24 and observed that Belly Pane need to change in next oil change but it was observed that today it came out from front at your dealer ship on 08/11/24 and observed that Belly Pane need to change in next oil change but it was observed that today it came out from front and make abnormal sound while driving at 50mph and seems cracked. The plates seems not fitted properly and from side screw came out and touched to road. Now it seems to be replaced. More
