I was told my time to wait would be an hour to an hour fifteen. After almost 2 hours, I had to contact them to see when my car was going to be ready. I had an appointment and if I knew it wasn’t going t fifteen. After almost 2 hours, I had to contact them to see when my car was going to be ready. My services were also part of the express service option, so maybe next time I won’t make an appointment. Also, I was never given my multi-point inspection to see if I needed to look into future maintenance since my car is older and has high mileage. Next time, I go, I will only deal with Stephanie. More
I have been going to VW of Smithtown since I moved to Hauppauge in 2016. Have always received excellent service. Management has changed and my last service visit was absolutely horrible. Stephanie and whole staff have the worst customer service skills I have ever experienced at a dealership. Please note I manage a Trade/Customer service desk for BNY Mellon so I train and mange people on customer service. They don't ask if they can put you on hold, left me on Hold for 20 minutes. Did not perform repairs as promised, until I expressed how pissed off I was at the service and then miraculously when Stephanie hung up on me the assistant Service Manager Nick called me and said my car would be done in 20 mins. You should not have to go through the stress of this when you have done nothing but adhered to what they asked to get your car serviced. I also spoke with Paul the service manager the week earlier and explained how the service was horrible and he said he would call me with a loaner but never did and then left for the holiday. I have loved going there until this new staff has been employed. Horrible. They have lost me as a customer. I will never go back there again. Stephanie is a horrible service advisor. Worst I have ever dealt with. I am so sorry/mad/sad that I even have to type this. Disgusted. At the end of the day they serviced my car but at what cost? I had to get upset, added stress and all for nothing I did. If they just learn how to communicate and deliver what they said they would do could have been totally avoided and I would not be typing this. Beware!! Myself family and friends own VW's and they lost all of us. Good Job :( More
I wish all dealerships were like this one, they always treat me like family. The staff is always charming and wonderful and the managers are awesome.
