We are chagrined that what should be a very happy experience with a new Avalon has been blemished by this curious matter. While we cannot establish what caused this we certainly apologize for the concern it has caused you. We know that this is your third Toyota and reflects the fact that your overall experience must have been positive, and while this peculiar matter might be dismaying I think we can assure you that it is now resolved.
