I stopped at this dealership to look at the pre owned vehicles. I was greeted by Jorge Cordero. We looked at some of the pre owned cars and we couldn't find one that suited me. Jorge suggested we go inside and see if he could work out the nunbers on a new Altima, I was hesitant, but followed him inside. He told me Nissan had a lot of incentives that would help with the price. He introduced me to his manager Greg Carrion, who had the patience of a saint with me, and they worked out a deal I couldn't refuse. I was able to get a new Altima for a little more than I would have paid for a used one. After we worked out the numbers, I sat down with the finance manager Chris Nesky and he worked his magic with the financing and I was able to get payments to fit my budget. I must say, the staff couldn't have been more friendly, informative, or accomodating. I have bought several cars in my life time and I must say this was this was a very pleasent experience. Whenever you have an appointment at this dealership, you service is started at the appointed time and they advise you of any additional repairs and cost thereof. We were accompanied by our son, since we are in our 80's, and felt very comfortable throughout the whole transaction. Our salesman was friendly and courteous and explained everything. I have use Smithtown Nissan for 19 years for both Pathfinders I purchased from them. I have always received great service and the service advisors have always been up front on every issue dealing wit Pathfinders I purchased from them. I visisted many dealerships and found Smithtown Nissan to be the least invasive. Robert Tarnowski picked up on my needs right away, which I appreciated. Robert made my Mom and I feel comfortable. It is an overwhelming process to purchase a new vehicle but Robert and the staff at Nissan Smithtowan made this process more bearable. I did not feel bullied or pressured or treated as though I did not know what I was looking for. I appreciated that Robert cut through all of the usual xx and I was able to leave that evening with a brand new vehicle I look forward to wokring with Robert and know that I can go to him if a problem/question arises. My fiance was ready to buy a vehicle now and after we looked at several local dealers, we decided to take a ride to Smithtown. We were not disappointed! Matt greeted us at the front door and started asking questions about what we were looking for. We felt he really listened and took the time to show us several vehicles that might suit our needs. No pressure. He made us feel like we were his first priority. We test drove a couple of vehicles before making our decision. Chris, the finance manager, was the next guy to make us feel we were his priority. We were worried about financing, but Chris and Matt joked over who was going to get to tell us the great rate they got for us!! After visiting plenty of other dealerships, we have found Smithtown Nissan to be full of courteous, knowledgeable and efficient staff who put our needs first. A good deal is when everyone is happy, and that has been our experience here. We definitely plan to give Smithtown Nissan our business in the future! More

Overall great experience. I would recommend this dealership to friends and family. I had a lot of frustration dealing with Ford and BMW of smithtown. The reason I gave an overall excellent rating is because Smithtown Nissan is an overall excellent dealership. The employees are very friendly and also very educated. I did not have an issue with John Buscetta or the service provided. My issue lies with one of the sales person/manager (with mustache/beard/slightly grey. I purchased a 2010 from Smithtown Nissan and noticed provided. My issue lies with one of the sales person/manager (with mustache/beard/slightly grey. I purchased a 2010 from Smithtown Nissan and noticed in 2011 (a year later) the First Aid (band aids, etc.) kit in the back tailgate was not there. I had it for my 2008 Pathfinder. I proceeded to explain to the sales rep what I noticed and asked what could be done to get the one. He and another sales rep said the Pathfinder never had it since the 2005 redesign of the Pathfinder. I noted that was an incorrect statement since my 2008 Pathfinder came with it. The one sales rep instead of being friendly and explain there was nothing he could do (which I would have excepted) started talking to me with an attitude and said it’s a year later and I quote "how do I know you bought the car here?" I said my name is in your database. Then he said "how does he know I’m telling the truth and maybe I lost it". Basically with that last statement he's attacking my integrity and calling me a liar. And on top of that he just finished saying the Pathfinder didn't come with that kit since 2005. I kept calm and I explained I only noticed it was missing only because I went to retrieve a band aide for my daughter and that's when I noticed. He just had that look in his eyes and shrugged his shoulder like he didn't care and said there’s nothing he could do. As I said earlier I would have accepted an explanation the kit is no longer provided but it should have been done in a totally different manner. So, with this bad experience (although small) I will probably go elsewhere for my service and would not recommend someone to buy a car/truck from Smithtown Nissan. It shows lack of people skills from the sales department (especially since they are the first line when someone comes into the show room). More
