Pleasure to deal with I walked in and met Justin and he showed me a new kia. The next day I went back to test drive a new car and after dealing with him and really enjoying I walked in and met Justin and he showed me a new kia. Great sales experience at Smithtown Kia I came to Smithtown Kia to look into buying the 2014 Kia Soul. I met Sales Manager Greg. He was really nice and I was surprised he wasn't what I expec I came to Smithtown Kia to look into buying the 2014 Kia Soul. I met Sales Manager Greg. He was really nice and I was surprised he wasn't what I expected, which was low as with some dealerships I've had in the past. I just assumed someone in this position might be pushy or... something. He was courteous and friendly. He asked me a few basic questions and referred me to Rick, my salesman. The conversation with Rick was exactly the same as Greg. He wasn't pushy but just friendly as if the sale of a car was second to making sure I had every question answered. I made it known I was looking at other brands and he seemed happy I had shopped around. After zeroing-in on the Soul and a basic model he didn't even try to steer me away for an up-sell. He got it quickly and that was fine with him. He is very easy going. I said I'd call him back in a couple of days after shopping further. On my way out the door Greg came by and asked if there was anything he could do for me and if I had any other questions or problems to call him direct. A few days later I called and told Rick we were interested in the model we looked at. We arranged an appointment to talk 'money'. I always do my homework for these types of purchases. When we got together again we discussed the price and it really _much_ lower than I thought, judging by what I had researched. On top of that he said there were other discounts and unfortunately I only qualified for one. After a little more discussion we settled and a much lower price than I thought I would get. Deal Done! There really wasn't an adversarial 'haggling' experience. I picked up my car today and Rick walked me through my new Soul. Just as I was leaving Greg came by to ask me if I had any questions or needed anything. I told him no. He said if there was anything that might up up just give him a ring. Rick said almost the exact same thing earlier. I was VERY happy with the whole shopping experience and the final signing of the paperwork/loan business etc. Smithtown Kia exceeded my expections. Bravo to them. More

I fully expected that I would buy this car and not deal with negotiating a turn-in price. Gregory Carrion gave me a call and asked me to come in and he would give me his best price without any games. He is a man of his word. I sat down with Rich Edelson, my salesperson, and between him and Greg they came up with a price that made getting a 2015 a no brainer. One of my least favorite things is sitting down in a car dealership and buying a new car. These guys made it easy and I highly recommend both of them. More

Mr Intini was very knowledgeable and professional. Not to mention he had a great sense of humor. He showed us how everything worked and what does what as well as even helping us set up our hands free bluetooth option. I will, and would without hesitation recommend Smithtown Kia to other people. My experience with Jerry Mancini was FANTASTIC! I always purchase my vehicles used, so have been through this particular song and dance many times. I can jones toy say that I have never been to one dealership that I would consider returning to for my next vehicle, until my most recent experience. I left the dealership with a great deal, super low miles, and a smile on my face. Usually, when you buy a used car, you sign the papers and you leave with the car. Jerry went the extra mile. When I shook his hand to say thanks and went to get into my new(used) SUV, he said, with a great big smile on his face,"but wait, I want to tell you all about your new car!" and he did. He showed us how very feature worked, inside and out. He promised that if we had any questions he would be there to answer them, and I believed him. We drove away feeling like we bought a new (new!) car! I know Smithtown Kia will be the first place I go to to shop my next used car. More
Have used this dealership a few times. Always friendly and helpful. They don't try to sell extra un-needed services. My advisor is Eric, who seems to go out of his way to help out. Ok here goes! First in a nut shell...do not do business with Smithtown Kia located on middle Country Rd in St James N.Y. ( long Island) ! Heres why... bought a slightly used 2012 optima with about 16000 mi with Smithtown Kia located on middle Country Rd in St James N.Y. ( long Island) ! Heres why... bought a slightly used 2012 optima with about 16000 miles on it and picked it up September 18th 2012. While signing final paper work I noticed a charge of 2000 for " Profolio" which tuned out to be a extended warranty. At first I was annoyed cause instead of the finance guy asking me if i wanted it he just threw it on. After he explained all it covered I let it go. Exactly one week later I went back to cancel it after reading nothing but bad reviews on the warranty company. Well the finance guy then standoffish and it was oblivious he didn't want to cancel it.I stood fast and saidi don't want it and contract stated I had two months to cancel and get full pay back to back since it was rolled into loan. He got the cancelation forum and after I filed it out he stated it took six weeks to cancel. So I waited the six weeks a nd during those 6 weeks I called the warranty company to see if they got the cancelation from dealer and they stated they never received any thing at all on my car. So after the 6th week I called Roy the finance guy to see what's the deal. He said he had to get back to me after he contacted b their main office (wherever that may be). So after a week of me calling Roy and the general manager Anthony and of them never calling me back when they said they would I caked Kia customer service which like most people had said they do nothing but call the dealer for you. After another week Kia customer service called me to tell me the money was sent back to bank. ( This is mid December 2012 now) and I saw they only returned $875 of the $2000 they were supposed to. I called kia again and they said they'd call the dealer. Kia calls me and said the dealer would call me at New years cause now the guy handling my case at the dealer was out till then and kia was closing the case on their end cause it involved a third party ( the warranty company ). So of course after the new year i hear nothing from the dealer so I take them to small claims court in mid May. A man was there representing the dealer ( turns out to be the general Manager Anthony who is also a paralegal according to him) and he asks for a adjournment. So it's granted and the next and Final court date was June 6th. When the judge called my case Anthony said he wanted to settle. So we stepped into the lobby and he precedes to shake my hand and apologize and blamed the missing $1125 on the bank crediting the wrong account. So we signed a 15 day settlement that Smithtown kia would pay me the $1125 by June 22th cause according to Anthony "I've waited long enough". So this past weds the 19th still no check from this place that is like less than two miles from my house. So I called Anthony at the dealership and politely reminder him he had two days to pay me. He states "Oh the check was just cut and I made sure it was mailed out tues." So now it's the 21th and it doesn't take 3 days for mail to come from the next town over. So if I don't get the check Tomorrow (Sat) then I'm going Monday to the sheriff to start a bank execution since smithtown kia obliviously doesnt want to pay me 8 months after I canceled the warranty. I've told every and anyone who would listen not to buy from this crooked dealership would has bad reviews all over and a BBB rating of F! More
What a great experience I had at Smithtown Kia. My sales Rep was Anthony Tamburro . As soon as I arrived Anthony greeted me and began to show me the vehicle I was interested in. What a beautiful SUV ! Anthony spent the time to explain all the features of the car and how they work. Anthony had so much patience with me being that I was not very familiar with all the newest features. I also was so happy that he listened to what I was asking and what I wanted and he did not waste my time going back and forth with pricing. Our negotiating was simple and I really appreciated that. When I picked up my sorento Anthony spent even more time with me reviewing all the features and how to operate everything. I also met with Roy and had a pleasant experience going over finance. I would recommend this dealer to everyone. I am so happy with my purchase ! More
