Poor customer service !!! Atlas is less than year old and they said radiator had a hole in it and would not fix it! So got my insurance involved and they agreed to cover it. Felt like service was very i and they said radiator had a hole in it and would not fix it! So got my insurance involved and they agreed to cover it. Felt like service was very inexperienced with handling insurance . If I didn’t make calls they would still have my car. My car was there for two weeks and they never offered loaner .On the day they said my car would be ready, I still had to wait an hour at 4 o’ clock when I was there to get !!!! They had all day to fix and still could not have it ready at 4:00!! Then they had to verify that my insurance was paying them. Felt like I was inconveniencing them. Will not be going back !! I am writing a letter to corporate . This encounter was not what you would expect with a year old 40,000 car, or for that matter any new car you purchased there. More

The Sales Manager Jeff & Sales Consultant Justin quoted me a price for a new lease, the day I went to sign paper work they stated that the price has suddenly changed and they would have to give me a different rate for 39months instead of 36months which we previously spoke about. They wasted my time and ran my credit to come back with a crooked deal! DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP! They will lie to you and are not trustworthy. I wish I read the views before I came here. More

Defective part-Bogus response and fraud The dealership sold me a new lock cylinder for my 2000 Jetta TDI glovebox . The cylinder was supposed to fit my ignition key, based upon the VIN The dealership sold me a new lock cylinder for my 2000 Jetta TDI glovebox . The cylinder was supposed to fit my ignition key, based upon the VIN I supplied to them. When I got the cylinder , along with a new plastic glovebox , the key wouldn't turn the lock cylinder. Why ? Apparently , whoever supplied the cylinder failed to put in the lock tumblers that would correspond with my ignition key, based on the VIN. In fact, I didn't see any tumblers in the cylinder at all. When I pointed this out to the parts manager when I requested a refund, he tried to snow me with some phony explanation that the inability to turn the cylinder was related to how the lock cylinder is inserted into the glovebox lock hole. In fact, it has nothing to do with that- when inserted, if the cylinder and key match, the cylinder will turn whether inside the glovebox or not. I took the matter up[ with the general manager , Jason Smith, who tried to back up the parts manager with the same phony explanation. At that point, I informed the manager that I was going to take Smith VW to small claims court . This was in December 2017. I live in central Pennsylvania, and had driven to Delaware to avoid the sales tax on the glovebox and cylinder , which came to over $300 in costs. The new cylinder alone was $112. So, in April of 2018,I took my case to Justice of the Peace court #13 in Wilmington, paying the $35.00 filing fee for my $112 claim .The court process was slow. Smith VW was served with process but never responded ; at long last I was awarded a default judgment on Nov. 13, 2018 , I called the general manager a few days later, and asked him whether he was prepared to send me a check for $147 . He said, "It doesn't work like that". No? How does it work? He accused me of being apt to make stuff up as to how the law would apply in his case. He said, when I called on a Friday , to give him until Tuesday to do his due diligence on research. So I call back on Tuesday, repeatedly. Surprise, surprise. He won't take my call or answer pages. The quality of service at this dealership is about as low as it gets! Avoid this place like the plague! Thomas More

Lack of communication Got a great deal on a used car. Communication was great up until trying to figure out when the permanent tag was coming. After about 2 months and leav Got a great deal on a used car. Communication was great up until trying to figure out when the permanent tag was coming. After about 2 months and leaving numerous messages to Maria (tags dept) without a callback, finally was told that they needed the previous owner to notarize the paperwork. Got another temp tag without issues. I was told I was going to receive a callback but no one ever called. 3 weeks later and after talking to the salesperson who never called back and leaving 2 messages for Maria, I finally got a hold of her who stated she just got the paperwork from previous owner. Getting a tag should not have been this hard. Lack of communication after the sale will deter me from purchasing a car from there again. More
purchase of new Jetta When we went to purchase our new Jetta, we were told one figure and it turned out to be different from after signing the contract. When the contract When we went to purchase our new Jetta, we were told one figure and it turned out to be different from after signing the contract. When the contract was presented to us, conveniently the sale person had his hand over the true figures of the vehicle cost and we were told that everything is as was reviewed prior to drawing up the contract. He never went over the figures with us prior to signing the contract. The vehicle was suppose to cost 22,000 less the Volkswagen incentive package of 3500. This dealers discount was not there. The extended warranty was suppose to cost us an additional 6.00 per month. It turned out that we were charged 1000 plus 6.00 per month. When we confronted the sales manager two days later, he said he was totally up front about all the charges and even produced a printout of the documentation sent to Volkswagen. This documentation was nothing like the on we signed. Lesson learned. Review all paperwork prior to signing. Delaware does not have a 3 day grace period to review contracts. We just moved to Delaware and were unaware of this flaw. The finance manager, sales manager along with the sales representative for the extended warranty were totally untrustworthy. The sales person on the floor was good at what he does. We would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. We contacted Volkswagen Corporate and the washed their hands of the matter stating that each dealership is privately owned and they do not have any control over them. More

Took it in that Monday waited about 2 hours and all of a sudden the guy said they didn't have my part. They had to order it ok so I had to get a rental since vw didn't have one there. Before I left the guy at the desk said it was going to be 605.00 I questioned him about it since I was told 195 over the phone now it's 605 I asked him is the 605 for everything he stated yes so I get a call saying my car is done. I drive an hour to get there the cashier lady than says the total, is 930.00 hmmmm what so long story short I ask for the manager and his excuse was that the guy has been there for a long time he would have never said it was 605 everything.
