Great experience My wife and I both purchased a vehicle from Shawn. I purchased a new 2011 4Runner and my wife purchased a used 2010 RAV4. We were pleased with the way My wife and I both purchased a vehicle from Shawn. I purchased a new 2011 4Runner and my wife purchased a used 2010 RAV4. We were pleased with the way Shawn treated us during and after the sale. We also have been very pleased with the service department. Jake is always personable and professional in the way he treats us both. When Jake is not available Pete has seen to it that we are taken care of. All three of these individuals are attributes to the Smart Toyota staff. Other staff at Smart Toyota have always asked if they could be of service when they see us at the dealership. From the showroom floor to the car wash, everyone is helpful. This is the main reason we keep coming back. More
Poor customer service/ disorganized MESS Showed up for a SCHEDULED AND CONFIRMED appointment for warranty work that my Toyota needed. Caleb Lensch (realized i had his name wrong - I had to go to their website to find his name) at the service desk was rude and downright nasty, demeaning and did I say NASTY 🤢: He had NO CLUE why I was there even though my name was on their board. He talked down at me and just UN NECESSARILY ugly, tone of voice was cold and unfriendly and and acted like I was bothering him 😡😡??. Thank GOD for Sylvia (God bless her) who after looking perplexed that I was there, and seeming to not remember the appointment SHE had set up with me, finally remembered WHY I was dropping off my car 😖😖. I'm usually a really cheerful person, and never give bad reviews, but with this one, I feel obligated to share my experience. Maybe help someone else not to end up in my predicament ??. The only decent customer service I have gotten was from the car wash staff 🙂And the salesman Ted Taka...... and Sylvia does try at least to smile and be helpful and friendly. That service department needs some serious help !?!?!?!?!?!?. It's hard to trust your car will be fixed correctly if the people you are leaving the car with are rude, disorganized and nasty ! I regret getting their warranty, I am stuck with this nastiness for years ??. If I could give the customer service a negative 👎 star ?? I would. More

Misrepresented from the start. I filled out a financial information sheet for Smart Toyota and the next day they called to inform me they could definitely help me find a vehicle. I I filled out a financial information sheet for Smart Toyota and the next day they called to inform me they could definitely help me find a vehicle. I went with full disclosure. I have poor credit(sub 500) but I have a long work history and low overhead with a down payment. I did not expect a positive from them so I was excited and made an appointment for Friday 8/14/15. There were only three cars they wanted to show me(based on my credit I expected and understood this) and of the three I selected the one I felt best suited my needs and wants. Their finance manager left Friday for a vacation of some sort so we were not able to work out a deal that night so I scheduled an appointment for Saturday morning(8/15/2015). I arrived to be informed that my paperwork had been "lost" and they would need some time to set everything up and they would call me back when they worked it out. No call Saturday night(not unexpected but not even a message). No call Sunday day or night to set up an appointment Monday. I had to call them(all of this should have been a huge red flag) and wouldn't you know it I wasn't approved afterall. I was understandably frustrated but hoped to work something out by increasing down payment or using another method but they wanted me to look at other cars. So I asked point blank if they sold the car I had made a verbal agreement on. Joe Wilson(a member of the finance department) told me the car sold. I asked when and it was...Saturday night(8/15/2015). So they lied about financing to get me in the door, wasted my time as well as the time of the saleswoman(Michelle Trees), then proceed to sell the car from under me without so much as a courtesy call. They tried and failed to interest me in other cars but unfortunately after the treatment I received I cannot in good conscience trust them. I was upfront and honest and they hoped that I was so desperate for a car that I wouldn't care that they treated me dismissively. I understand credit is a separate issue and I have no problems with the denial. My issue is the treatment I got from the business overrall. Michelle Trees, the saleswoman, was a very nice lady who tried her best to help me out and I feel terribly that her time was wasted. To summarize I only wish this dealership was as honest with me as I was with them. I hope I am the exception not the rule. More
Awesome salesperson!! We had been looking for a van to suit our two families coming together (our old car would only hold up to 5, and there are 6 of us now). We test drove one but when we went back to get it, it had sold. Who knew it was a blessing in disguise!?! We got a newer van for about the same price. We also found that it had most of the amenities that we wanted, including remote start (I was most excited about this!). Our only problem was a noise, but they reassured us it would be fixed. And it was, and now the van is working out perfectly for our family. We highly recommend Smart Toyota and our salesman Broc Golden!! He went above and beyond to help us out and we are so happy that we went in to see him!! More
