Went to see a car that I had found online at Smail. Placed an inquiry through they internet. Jim Spanbauer returned my call. Made an appt to go see the vehicle that evening. Drove car, had all the options we were looking for, and began to negotiate price. We then found out that our car had "a dirty car fax." It had been in two accidents prior our purchase, none of them major, where any airbags were deployed. Do to this "dirty car fax," they were offering us extreme bottom line for our trade, even though the car fax itself states, -$110 due to history. Ok, car dealers. Then over the next two hours, we negotiated a price, and were very close to a deal. We then had to get something to eat for our children, which the dealership offered us nothing, not even water, we left. I instructed Jim Spanbauer to call me if, and when we reached the numbers we discussed. He called about 20 mins later. I returned his call, he was not at the dealership, left a message. I returned his call again, at which time the sales manager answered in Jim's absence, stated he was on the road with another customer. I told the sales manager that we had a deal, and i would buy the car. He stated that he would get the final numbers with the bank, and Jim would call back tomorrow to arrange delivery of the car. Tomorrow came, and i heard nothing. waited till noon, called, left a message with the manager, as Jim Spanbauer was off that day. Called again at 2 pm, left another message. At 4:30, Jim Spanbauer called me and stated the we had a problem. He stated appearently last night as we were driving the car, a salesman from another store was already working a deal on the car, and they didn't know. Now, this may the case, but, why would you wait almost 12 hours to tell me, and then on the second day, send out all of my info to the banks, and run my credit on a car you no longer had? I know that they processed my credit, as credit monitor informed me. So, this is just underhanded, they are at least not being honest, and their dealership is TOTALLY disorganized. I think they found another buyer, got a better deal from them, and sold the car out from under me. I would avoid this dealer. More

I visited the dealership on a saturday before memorial day because i was looking online that morning for a suv/cuv and I saw the kia sportage and also a chevy equinox. when i arrived in parking lot i was day because i was looking online that morning for a suv/cuv and I saw the kia sportage and also a chevy equinox. when i arrived in parking lot i was greated by marty cummins. He very politely asked if he could help me. His attentiveness was very appreciated. We looked at the 2011 Kia Sportage and he asked if we wanted to take a test drive so we did. I was very pleased with his knowledge of the vehicle etc. So we went inside and gave him my info and tossed the numbers around and now I am driving my Kia. I had looked around previously but felt too much pressure from continuous phone calls from other dealers. Stopping at Smail Kia wasn't really a planned visit at all...of course I just wanted to look at it....lol! Would recommend this dealership to family and friends. Rebecca Smith More

Rob was very friendly and helpful the entire time we spent looking, thinking, and eventually purchacing our 2010 Toyota Sienna. Our 22 month old daughter was with us the day we bought it. I had to let my '95 Chevy Silverado go due to the cost of fuel and maintenance. I was looking for something more efficient. I'm glad that Rob helped me out in choosing a new KIA Forte ex. I'm still getting used to driving a car after having my pickup for over 10 years, but I'm glad I have it. I can already see the difference in fuel usage. While we were not planing to buy a car the day we visited Smail Kia, I have been curious about the mileage ratings on their vehicles. Being retired, gas prices can limit our travel. Not being "attacked" by a salesman upon entering the showroom was a good start to our experience. Martin Cummins introduced himself and from there on helped us until we drove our new Kia off the showroom floor that evening. Martin knew the product inside out and answered all of our questions about the car,the financing,warranty and anything else we wanted to know. Because of his help and the product itself we bought the car.Our financing was done by Jason Reid.Between the two of them I think this was the first time in forty years buying a new car was fun for us. If the service department is half as good as the sales dept. I'm sure we will be stedy customers. More
