Although I called needing parts at a very busy time Chris ordered my parts from the other side of the country and they arrived in just two days. ,He remembers me by name and has a nice sense of humor. They all have a genuine interest in the customers Jim and Ed drive Mustangs (I still have mine bought at Skyline Ford from Don Donifrio exactly 57 years ago). As no one was waiting to buy parts we could chat for a few minutes . Their customer relations are so good that I would not consider buying Ford parts anywhere else as I would feel guilty. My hat is off to Chris ,Jim and Ed for their friendly punctual help. There is one other thing I appreciate: There is no "muzak" playing if you phone and are on hold and no silly commercials either. In short, customers are treated very well indeed. Thanks Skyline Ford . More

Skyline Sales steppe Update to this saga: 08/11/2021: Ford Corporate and the Skyline Ford Body Shop team worked together to cover the repair fully. Skyline Sales stepped up and paid the $300 difference and got our vehicle restored. I have to say, I'm impressed with job Ford did on our vehicle. The paint is flawless. Ford Corporate also offered us an extended warranty just in case. This is a HUGE worry lifted off our shoulders. Thank you, Ford for being a good corporate citizen and making good on the product. This is important. Folks, don't be afraid to advocate for yourself and your family. I do believe that our local dealer does want to do right by their loyal customers. Sometimes it just takes some communication and expression of honest feelings to get the job done. our faith is restored. -- a Ford family. --------------------- Update to this saga: 07/19/2021: The General Manager of Skyline and Ford Corporate have agreed to help our family with the defect, repaint the areas that are shedding paint, at no cost to our family. We use this vehicle as our disabled son's primary transport and we hoped it would last for years. At the rate the paint was falling we would've been lucky to have it not rust before we finished paying it off. We are so relieved that we got some help after self-advocacy. Our shop appointment is set for the end of the month. I am again, cautiously optimistic and my faith in our local dealership has been somewhat restored. It was disheartening that we had to essentially ague about this when all we did was give our dealer almost $30,000. Our sincere hope is that the repair is done well. The Shop Manager has been super helpful, honest, and kind. He understands (as do we) the situation that we are ALL in because of what the EPA puts car manufacturers through: They EPA forces them to make changes to how they do their job mid-stream and essentially CREATE defects where previously none existed -- and have no culpability whatsoever. Now there's all this bad blood between the manufacturers, dealers, and buyers...do the research this problem is everywhere, multiple years, multiple models. It is unfair to everyone in this equation -- no exceptions. I will update this review after the paint job and let everyone know how it went. ---------------------------- BUYER BEWARE!!! I've lost count of how many Fords I've owned. Sadly, we -- After more than 35 years of loyal patronage are done with Ford products. There is a well-documented issue with the paint on their Ford Escape that is causing the finish to literally fall off their vehicles. Google this defect and you will find THOUSANDS of consumers who've been fleeced by Ford on this. Our Escape has only 33K miles and about 40 months of ownership. We asked our dealer for support in helping cover the cost of the repainting the areas where paint has fallen off and they walked away. NEVER, EVER, EVER, NEVER expect this dealership or their staff to stand behind you as a customer or the products they sell -- after selling you a vehicle KNOWING there is a well- documented defect present. This is absolutely tragic. I have been loyal to Ford since I bought my first Ford as a teenager right out of high school. Never, ever again. If your "Ford Family" is willing to sell products through lies of omission what else is wrong with their products? What else have they not told you? When will you learn of the defect? Just a few weeks after their warranty is done. How very, very sad. Buyer Beware. More

My salesman Mike Tovar was great, the customer service was beyond reproach. They went out of their way to make this a pleasant experience. They even helped me load the motorcycle in my trailer.
