on 5-21-12 I noticed my sun roof was leaking and I made the mistake of taking my vehicle to Skyline Ford in South Salem. The service department gave me a quote of $300.00 just to diagnose the problem. I wa the mistake of taking my vehicle to Skyline Ford in South Salem. I was told they would need the truck for three days to fix it properly and they told me sun roof leaks are very expensive and could cost up to $1000.00 in repairs! At this point I'm looking at $1300.00 in work for an alleged leaky sun roof. Of course common sense would tell anyone something isn't right. I call LandMark Ford in Tigard. I was quoted $50.00 to 100.00 to diagnose and if I had them fix the problem they would incorporate the price to diagnose into the repair cost. They got me in the same day.... 2hrs later and for a 100.00 my un roof was diagnosed and fixed. It has rained since then and no leaky sun roof. I don't know what's wrong with this service department but they are dirty! More

I was impressed the others would step up to help that quick. They also made a effort to get the color of car I wanted. They didn't have one at their dealership so they had someone bring one in the next day in the color I had requested. I found the salesman very friendly and personable. The business manager was very knowledgeable about the financing and willing to explain it in terms that I could understand. It felt like he had all the time in the world to seal the deal with me. The only part I didn't like was talking payments and numbers with the salesman. There was some confusion between lease payments and financing ones. Despite the confusion in our conversation I am happy overall with the financing. I was set up with a credit union in my home town, with the payments in a range that I wanted and with a decent interest rate. I also went back to the dealer for additional items, coating treatment package and a trunk mat. Everyone was very friendly and seemed like they made an effort to take care of me as a customer. The parts guy didn't have the mat in stock but he had it shipped overnight so I could have it the next day. I also was given a brand new rental car to drive home as part of the coating treatment package. The lady in charge of that was very friendly and made sure I knew all the details. I found the people at the service counter in the garage very helpful also. They were very prompt to ask about helping me as I drove in and I had calls from two people the next day to tell me my car was ready to pick up. I'd have to say even though I'm not from Salem I wouldn't have any qualms about recommending this dealership to my friends or family. This is the first Ford car I've owned so this was a huge change for me. More
