I was quite pleased with our buying experience. My background includes high touch customer service, aviation fuel sales, aviation lubricant sales, and working with Fortune 500 corporate aircraft owner background includes high touch customer service, aviation fuel sales, aviation lubricant sales, and working with Fortune 500 corporate aircraft owners and pilots. Jeff was accommodating, asked the right questions, and knew how to push a little and when to give us some space. All in all a very effective marketer. In contrast to Jeff's enthusiastic attitude I was somewhat dismayed to look around and observe other salesman sitting around looking at their phones. I can see why Jeff is successful. During the closing process I purchased the extended warranty as well as the Northwest protection package. After a few days pondering my decision I regret purchasing the Northwest protection package as I simply don't see where the value is for myself or the car. I've owned several new cars with leather interiors and have not purchased any optional protection packages for the exterior and interior. My father in law was a Ford dealer for almost Forty years and I have a full understanding of add on packages and the reasoning for the dealership to offer and promote them. I am scheduled to have the package applied on July 2 but will call to discuss my desire to cancel it. More

My girlfriend and I were shopping around for a good reliable vehicle that would last a few years before putting any money into it with a very limited and tight budget. My girlfriend was on Craiglist.co reliable vehicle that would last a few years before putting any money into it with a very limited and tight budget. My girlfriend was on Craiglist.com when she came across the exact type of car we had tested at a car lot prior to coming across Skyline Ford. The price was a bit out of our budget. She called anyway, gave the details that she was looking at our car in front of her while on the phone with our salesman on the phone, going by the name Wally. She informed him of our budget and he said come on in and we can see about working with you. I work night shift. Got off work to look at my girlfriend'd text saying she found a perfect fit that I should go look at, a little pricey but willing to work with us. I walk my bike with a flat tire to Skyline Ford which was just down the street from my work. Asked for Wally. Turns out the person that opened the door to greet me was indeed Wally. Easy, didn't have to go looking for someone. I let him know I was the boyfriend of the person he was on with earlier asking about this specific car. He then had me follow him inside while he went to go get the keys for a different vehicle so he could drive me to a separate lot where this vehicle was. I loved it right away. Beautiful, clean interior and awesome blemish-free paint and body. Smelled like a new car even though it was a few years old. We then traded spots for the car he brought us in to take this car for a test drive to see my girlfriend at our place. WAS NOT expecting that. Figured test drive, sure, but not to my place which was a bit of a drive from the lot. We get there, she loves it as well. All 3 of us at this point drive back to the dealership. We sat down in a room that was 3 solid walls with the wall behind my girlfriend and I being about 1/4 wall and the rest being the door and a pretty good sized window so it didn't feel like we were trapped. The desk we sat at didn't have much to it so I didn't have to feel like I needed to be rich sitting there. He knew what my budget and payment options were by now. He put a paper on the desk and asked how much we could do for a down and for monthly. I knew the more down the more likely the monthly they could work with the monthly. My only concern was the sum amount. I asked if he could find out whether or not that could be lowered. Wally asked what would I like to see. I knew I was going a little over my budget already but my girlfriend and I loved the car so much I did what I could to work with them. So my price I was looking at was asking if it wouldn't be too much to go $1000 lower than the posted asking price. Wally then said he would be right back. Came back the monthly payment I was able to afford with the monthly down I offered and went down $1500 on the original asking price. After showing me the paper with this written down and said it's yours today to walk away with, I had to go outside for a breather. I was incredibly amazed and surprised they were willing to not only work with the payment plan I had offered but then took that much off the original asking price which was even more than I was asking. It made my first car buying experience from a lot a great one and with Wally's prompt relaying of information to and from it went very quickly. The longest part of the whole experience was filling out the paper work to organize a payment plan and get everything. Even then, knowing how they worked with us made it easier to tell they were doing their job as best and thorough as possible. It has actually changed up my girlfriend and my life for the much better. It all went very quickly and now have an awesome car at an affordable price and rate. Thank you Wally for your hard work and Skyline Ford of Salem, Or for working with us. More

Jack has made every purchase easy. I know that I can call Jack with my questions or what I think I need and he will get back to me very quickly.
