"Craig at the Skyline Overstock location was a great help..." I was going through my mid-life crisis and was driving by and saw a Mustang on the Skyline Overstock lot. When I stopped in, Craig was the help..." I was going through my mid-life crisis and was driving by and saw a Mustang on the Skyline Overstock lot. When I stopped in, Craig was there to meet me and he was the perfect guy for the job. He was very friendly, patient and above all else, he didn't try to "hard-sell" or push me into a car that wasn't right for me. I test drove three different Mustangs and four vehicles all together. He was very patient with my indecisiveness. When I finally found the "one" for me, he made the buying process very smooth and seamless. I am now the happy owner of a fantastic silver Mustang and I owe it all to Craig. More
We feel Jimmy gave us a terrific deal. Kelley, David and Sage were absolutely wonderful, resulting in a good buying experience. It may be too early to rate, but we love the car. Either Jim or BJ Donofrio have helped me during that time period. I can't say enough about the service and personal attention you get when you buy from the folks at Skyline Ford! Just this past week BJ got me into a Great 2011 F150 Ford Platinum truck! Thank you BJ and All your Staff at the Dealership!! More

These three fellows, Dan Waldron (Sales), Octavio Hernandez (Sales Manager) and Chris Wagner (Finance) were great to deal with during our purchase of the 2013 C-Max. This was not a high pressure even Hernandez (Sales Manager) and Chris Wagner (Finance) were great to deal with during our purchase of the 2013 C-Max. This was not a high pressure event, all three listened to what we had to say and what we were looking for... Not pushing what they wanted to move. Although in previous years we have done our Ford business with a different dealership, we felt Skyline Ford would be more able to handle any service needs the new technology the C-Max may require. Oh, and they make great coffee!!! Larry Francis More

I suspect I'm not alone in walking into a car dealership with a certain amount of trepidation. All one has to do is read any online "guide to buying a new car" and you'll find seemingly endless dealership with a certain amount of trepidation. All one has to do is read any online "guide to buying a new car" and you'll find seemingly endless warnings ranging from how dealers will influence you, all the way to how they'll actually try and trick you. Add that to the fact that I don't buy cars very often (since buying my first car 33 years ago, this is the fifth one I've ever purchased, so it's not like I'm experienced at this), and you can imagine I was a little apprehensive when I walked into Skyline Ford. And let's face it--cars are somehow very seductive. I don't even consider myself a "car person," and yet if a salesperson said "Ya know, not only does this model come with an AM radio, but--when it's not cloudy outside--it can pick up not three, but FOUR stations," I would probably gasp in amazement and start writing out a check. It SHOULDN'T be like this: I mean, outside of a house or maybe a lear jet, a car is the biggest purchase most of us are likely to make. You would think that would make one calm, cool, collected, logical, cautious and reasonable...but it doesn't seem to work that way--at least not most of the time. And this is why I can so highly recommend Skyline Ford in Salem. I worked with John McComish. From the get-go, he clearly wanted to help me find not the coolest, most tricked-out car, but the BEST car for me. And he did this with no pressure whatsoever. It was actually a pleasurable experience--in fact, it was fun. To give an example of how good John is to work with, at one point (after my first test drive, and after I'd subsequently stopped by a few more times with questions), I went over to Skyline with my brother. I wanted to get his opinion on the car I was interested in. I asked John if he could open one up for us, so that we could take a closer look at it. He said he'd be happy to do so; but instead of taking us to one out in the lot, he went and got one, drove it up, and suggested another test drive. I asked if he would drive it, while my brother and I checked it out, and took notes on the interior, the ride, passenger comfort, etc. Maybe a less-scrupulous salesman would have insisted I drive, in the hopes I would catch "new car fever." But not John--he actually seemed to enjoy the fact that he would be the one doing the driving on that occasion! I don't want to make this a novel (there are several other positive things I could write, believe me). In short, everything I experienced at Skyline was top-notch. It was an absolute pleasure to work with John; however, I should mention that I was favorably impressed with the other personnel I met there as well. All very friendly, and professional. Head to Skyline Ford, and ask for Big John. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better salesperson to work with. More
