My first experience with the service department it could’ve been a little bit better. I dropped my 2017 tundra off first thing on the morning of July 19, 2023. Ask for a simple oil change and multipoint inspection. Also asked how long I expected to wait since I had to pick up somebody at sky harbor early that afternoon. Stacy had told me it should be no longer than one hour. After one and a half hours went by I stuck my head out into the service center and saw that my truck was still on the rack with all tires on the ground. I specifically asked no tire rotation to be done since it was done the previous week by Costco. Service manager, other than Stacy told me that they removed the tires to inspect the brakes. I felt that was a cover-up excuse since I saw the mechanic relocate the tires to where they had come off Two hours later, my truck came off the rack and was ready for me to roll. Stacy had informed me that our regional service manager was in the service bays that morning really slowing things down. I appreciated her honesty, but still felt a two hour oil change, and multipoint inspection is way too long for the busy lifestyle most of us put in. This is my first experience with Sierra Toyota because I was in town to look at relocating my home and business. 90% of all my service has been completed by Toyota dealers on all my tundras since 2005. I hope the next several experiences with your service department is a smoother and more efficient experience. More
