I was quite pleased with Cassie. Good communication and kept things on schedule. I appreciate a woman in a traditionally male dominated field. He was infinitely patient and always responded in a timely manner to my questions. He has even checked in with me since the sale. And also Fernando (or Francisco) my apologies as I never saw his name, but the gentleman who helped me with the financing on the Saturday I came in to purchase the car. He was very pleasant to work with. I was delighted that Alejandro brought my car to my home when it was ready! What a wonderful service! I'm very pleased with the new car. I am writing this review to express my frustration and disappointment with Showcase Honda’s handling of my situation. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, I’ve been met with a lack of attention disappointment with Showcase Honda’s handling of my situation. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, I’ve been met with a lack of attention, accountability, and transparency. Late September I turned in my leased car to trade in as I have for the last 4 years. After leasing a new car that night I was forced to resign just a week later, due to Showcase Honda’s mistake of calculating the taxes incorrectly. I was assured that no changes of the contract were made but due to the delay of resigning, my payment for the car I traded in came out since it was still under auto pay. I called to see how to resolve this and the salesmen that helped me said to go through my personal bank and they should refund me. My bank said it was on the dealership to repay me so I called the financial team at showcase Honda. The finance team told me once my old car was paid off there should be a remaining balance that will be sent back to me, they guaranteed I would get the full amount that I paid back. Over the course of three months I continued to call for updates but was given the run around by Showcase Honda’s Sales, Accounting, and Financial teams with multiple promises to address the issue and compensate me for their mistake. In December I finally received a call back saying the check was sent out to me. I was relieved until I opened the check and saw that only a partial amount was sent back to me. I was furious because this took over 3 months to get the check and what was promised to me was that I would receive the full amount that came out of my account. I called back demanding some answers and spoke with a finance team member who explained what he believed happened- which was that a partial amount of the payment was taken by Honda financial for taxes and fees and the remaining balance went to the principal of the car, which was the amount sent back to me. This did not make sense to me, as during the original signing a payoff amount for the car getting turned in was agreed upon and nothing further was needed from me. The automatic payment was purely just extra that should have been returned in full. The finance team member said that I can call Honda Financial bank to see if I can get reimbursed but he couldn’t guarantee that. Instead of taking responsibility and making things right, Showcase Honda consistently shifted the blame to Honda Financial Bank. I then called Honda financial and explained to them my situation and they did see that there was some money floating around and they needed some time to figure out where it went. The representative called me back a couple of days later and explained to me that Showcase Honda was late on paying off my old car due to the resigning, this caused the payoff amount to be changed due to fees. So when my payment came out it went towards their mistake that I had to pay for. The Honda Financial Bank Representative said she would call the dealership and explain to them what really happened. I still have yet to receive a call from Showcase Honda. To add insult to injury, Showcase Honda is attempting to claim that the issue lies with me and Honda financial despite clear documentation from Honda financial that confirms the mistake was made by Showcase Honda itself. This lack of accountability and willingness to take responsibility for their errors is appalling. I would caution others to think twice before doing business with Showcase Honda, their lack of accountability and customer care is alarming and I can no longer recommend them. More
