My experience with Showcase Honda was disappointing and aligns with numerous other negative reviews. They add approximately $1,500 (not included in the list price) for a "Showcase Value Package" and "Zakte aligns with numerous other negative reviews. They add approximately $1,500 (not included in the list price) for a "Showcase Value Package" and "Zaktek" extras that offer little to no real benefit to the buyer. We purchased a used vehicle on a Friday afternoon. While the sales rep had the car washed and waiting which was appreciated the interior hadn't been detailed at all. We found a 200mg caffeine pill in the center console and dried spill stains around the cupholders. They promised to clean it while we completed the paperwork, but after everything was signed, my family and I waited another 30 minutes for the car to be brought around. After a couple of days, I had second thoughts and noticed they advertise a "Love It or Leave It" 3-day/300-mile guarantee. I called Sunday morning to ask about buying back my trade-in and even drove back to the dealership that same day. I was told nothing could be done until the vehicle was “inspected.” By Tuesday, my trade-in was already listed for sale on their website. Despite contacting them multiple times a day, I couldn’t get a straight answer or any pricing. They mentioned they’d sell it back to me for $500 over their cost, which gave me some hope but after nearly a week of follow-ups, a sales manager finally got back to me Thursday afternoon to tell me the car had been sold. His exact words: "We're in the business of making money." Legally, they’re under no obligation to take back the car or sell me my trade-in, but the delays, lack of transparency, and misleading communication were incredibly frustrating. This experience has completely eroded my trust in traditional car dealerships. Consumers deserve better protection in situations like this. I won’t be buying another car from a dealership again especially not from Showcase Honda. More
