Completely aside from service, I was disappointed to hear that the dealership was going to start charging a 3% fee to use a credit or debit card. It is hard for me to understand why a company would want to pass this fee on to their customer. It is no longer a "convenience" to use a credit or debit card in today's world. Whether good or back, people rarely carry cash (especially enough for automotive costs) much less checks. I try to get my services done by a Honda dealership, but with this additional cost and in this economy, I find it more convenient to take my business to a locally owned place where they will gladly take my debit card without charging me a fee. More

Shottenkirk is great. But could you relate this to Honda. I’ve owned 9 Accords since 1991. My 2010 in the white pearl paint started to peel just after warranty. I always buy white Hondas. Every single one of them the paint started flaking off just after warranty. Honda would never help. Cars sat inside garage too. My 2004 White Tahoe I bought new in 12/2003 sat outside in my driveway for 15 yrs and paint still like new. I gave Honda one more chance on a new CRV in metallic steel. Praying paint stays on it. Last Honda if flakes. Just relay that to Honda Corp. i lost thousands in sales and trades on those paint flaking Hondas. Im considering a new Ridgeline Trailsport in white but worry about paint. More
