This dealership is rude and disrespectful. I will never return with any vehicle. The only person in the service department that even remotely had it together was Kara. I will forever be grateful for her because she was respectful and actually communicated about the vehicle being worked on. She didn't get rude or make hateful comments when asked questions. More
Our saga with this dealership continues. Shortly after finally getting my Escape back after months, I was driving it and the check engine light came on. I carried it to a different dealer (that was great) and was told that the O2 sensor wire had been taped with black electrical tape because it had been sitting on the exhaust and had melted. They are unable to do anything until that is repaired at a cost of over $600.00. There has only been one place that has done work on this vehicle. Shottenkirk! We have tried to contact the service manager to see if this is covered under the warranty that came with the replaced transmission since it would have had to been removed and replaced during that process. My husband has even went to the dealership to try and speak with someone. Of course, no one will respond to our request. PLEASE DO NOT USE Shottenkirk Ford in Jasper!! I apologize in advance for the length of this post, but I feel completely helpless and frustrated beyond words! Back in February, I had issues with my Ford Escape. We carried it to Shottenkirk Ford in Jasper. I was told it needed a new transmission and would be covered under my extended warranty. However, they were not sure how long it would take to receive the parts needed from Ford. When I dropped it off I asked that it be kept under cover until a new windshield could be put in because it leaked. I gave them permission to install the new windshield so it could be moved outside. Fast forward three month, still no hope of having my car repaired, I made the decision to purchase a new car with the plan that I would sell the Escape once it was repaired. Shottenkirk would not purchase it because it would void the warranty. I understood that. They also said they would not honor the Z plan that is available to me because my father-in-law put in over 30 years of service with Ford and my brother-in-law has been with Ford for 27 years. John and I made the decision to purchase my Bronco from Wade Ford because they gladly honored the plan. When I went to Shottenkirk to get some personal items out of my Escape I found my car sitting outside, torn apart. I quickly noticed that after more than three months, the windshield had not been repaired and had sat outside in the elements. Also, parts had been placed inside in the back hatchback area. I was furious, but what could I do. John immediately carried a tarp and covered it to prevent further damage. Finally, after four months I received the call that it was repaired and ready to pick up. When I went to pick it up, the first thing I saw was a tear in the leather on the driver's seat that was NOT there previously. The seat, steering wheel, and door on the the driver side was also very dirty with what appeared to be grease. Also, both sides of my back hatchback area had been scratched. I strongly recommend that no one trust Shottenkirk Ford with your vehicle. They obviously do not care about their customers! Very angry!!! #shottenkirkford #fordmotorcompany More
I recently had problems with the AC on my 2012 Ford Fusion and I took it to Ralph Tucci at Shottenkirk Ford Jasper. Ralph and his staff figured out what the problem was and fixed it in record time. Eve Fusion and I took it to Ralph Tucci at Shottenkirk Ford Jasper. Ralph and his staff figured out what the problem was and fixed it in record time. Everyone there was friendly,courteous and helpful. Excellent customer service. I will definitely go back to Shottenkirk Ford Jasper. When you find someone you can trust at a fair price there is no reason to go anywhere else. More
Began having issues with the SUV I bought within 12 hours of having it. Took it back and they got it in to service a few days later. I ended up having to take it back 5 more times to actually get this fixe of having it. Took it back and they got it in to service a few days later. I ended up having to take it back 5 more times to actually get this fixed even with a video showing them the issue. Have since had to take it back about 8 more times with various other issues. They keep my car sometimes for up to 2 weeks at time as they are sending it elsewhere to be fixed. They had to replace the stereo and in doing so erased my apple car play. I had to argue for two weeks and they had to call programmers to get this back on. They asked me for proof I had it before. Well it was on the advertisement when I went in and I had a video of it working before they touched it. I told them I would not accept the vehicle back less than what it was when I sent it in for service. Its now been in for 9 days for an issue I've already taken it in for before. I have the issue on video and they said they couldn't re create it. So much for that wonderful extended warranty they sold me. So they had my car 3 days and had not even ran diagnostics on it. I have told them multiple times to buy it back. The dealership manager has never called me even though I have requested he do so multiple times. They also promised to replace a cracked piece of trim right after I bought and every time I mention it, its forgotten. The vehicle was also advertised with navigation and i was told by finance I would have to buy the SD card to update it to get it to work. The SD card is $500.00. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM THEM AGAIN! Trust me when i say the don't check the cars before they sell them. More

Called to get new tires for a fiesta. They didn’t have any and had to order some. We had an appointment for 9:00am on a Friday to have them put on. Got there and had no information from the phone call. Still had no tires and has to order them. My daughter wasted and hour on the road to get there. Still had to order some. Had an appointment for 11:00 the next day. I took the car and wanted an oil change and the new tires put on and balanced. The service guy had told my daughter on Friday that for her trouble they would discount the oil change. Same guy waited on me Saturday and did not mention promised discount until I said something about it. Then was also going to charge me for an alignment that I did not want. Once we got that straightened out I sat for 2 hours without any information about what was taking so long. When I went to ask about it, the guy that had been helping me saw me walk up and walked away from the counter. I ask another person to check on my car. He did, then the original guy came out and told me that they were having trouble with the lug nuts because of a poor design Ford developed. He then told me new lug nuts would cost me $111.00. Not until I put up a fuss did they back down. About forty-five minutes later I finally got my car back. Never have I waited 2 hours and 44 minutes for an oil change and new tires. More
I must say that I’m very pleased with Shottenkirk Ford for honoring their end of the deal with my vehicle warranty... Initially, I had an issue with speaking with the right employee, but I must say Henry for honoring their end of the deal with my vehicle warranty... I was traveling from Ohio to Georgia to spend time with family, and my truck decided to start acting up right in front of the Shottenkirk Ford dealership. I pulled into the lot, and went to the service desk. They took my truck in immediately to diagnose the problem. Kara Adams said that the repair would be covered under a recall, but they couldn’t get to it until the morning.. she then offered a loaner car so that I could get my family to our destination.( 180 miles away) the repair was completed the next day, I drove back, returned the loaner, and was quickly on my way in my repaired truck. I mainly worked with Kara, but the whole team was a class act, thank you to all of you I really appreciate the awesome service. More
RIPOFF ARTISTS!!! SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS NOT TO BE BELIEVED! Service department performed a $99 diagnostic on my transmission and said it needed to be replaced - $4,600. I took the F150 to a local mechanic who checked the fluid and said it needed a service. Filter was very dirty! Truck runs new now! Went back to Shottenkirk to bring this to the attention of Greg, the Service Manager. He listed to me and when I said it was a shame that his guys go to school for this and it was despicable that this happened, he told me to leave! In fact, as he stormed out of the service department into the shop, he looked back and said he didn't care if I didn't come back! Two Shottenkirk employees witnessed it. These guys are crooks. I was looking to trade my truck because I believed them at first. Nothing like telling me my truck's value is $4,600 less than I thought only to do business with them and then they resell my truck with a simple transmission service! WORST EXPERIENCE IN A VERY, VERY LONG TIME!! THIS PROBLEM STARTS AT THE TOP OF THE DEALERSHIP - AVOID THIS PLACE. MANY OTHER FORD DEALERS IN THE AREA. More
UP SALE SPECIAL AND BAD SO CALL REPAIRS I took my vehicle to this dealership twice for service. Each time I took my vehicle there tgey tried to up sale me on services that had nothing to do I took my vehicle to this dealership twice for service. Each time I took my vehicle there tgey tried to up sale me on services that had nothing to do with the service I was there fir and they tried to tell me I needed a break job. The first time I was there My truck was running a little rough I knew there may be an issue with spark plugs or something in that area which they determined as well. They came to me telling me I needed a break job really bad on my front breaks. I was confused because I never seen my truck on a lift or my tires off but you are telling me I need a break job. I said no and asked why are they looking at my breaks when I am there for my engine. The lady told me it was a good time for it they had a special it would cost me a little over $400.00 an axel. I said no please just gix the issue at hand. Later she tells me my truck is ready and she tried to charge my over $800.00 part of the cost was for a break job I had stated on two occasions I did not want it. We discussed the issue and finally they removed the charges and she said “I guess you got a free brak job.” The next time I brought my truck I needed an oil change and my interior AC motor was not working properly. When I have them access the issue they determined the same thing. I tell the guy to fix it. He comes back an tells me I need a break job. I asked why are you checking my breaks I need my oil changed and my interior AC motor fixed. He comes back and tells me my air golter is dirty I ok them telo replace it. He comes back and said they did not have an AC Motor but he could order it. He told me the total cost for part and labor I tokd him to order it and schedule me for the repair. About 15 minutes later he comes back and tells me they have the part and can fix the issue. I said to him but you said you all did not have the part. He said no we have it and we can fix your truck now you want have to come back. I have already been there for over 4 hours so I told him to fix it. The area did not look like it have any work done and the AC Motor worked for the drive home. I did not drive again because I was in the hospital for surgery I take my truck on a road trip the following weekend and no AC the motor is not working again. I brought it back the guy just tried to charge me $69.00 to fix it again telling me the harness burned out and the mechanic with replace it for free it I buy the part. I told him this is crap to give me my truck I an not paying again to fix an issue I pay to have fixed a week ago. He said they would fix it without charging me he did not want me upset. Oh did I mention he tried to up sale me again during this process. I will never use their services again nor will I buy anything from this dealership. If this how they treat me when they are trying to get my money I know it’s not going to get better afterwards. More
